I then charged in ready to strike Shinobu down but before I knew it she was already behind me and. And I had lost along with Hinata

"I must say, you two do show potential, I'll be willing to help sharpens both your skills further. Then when the Final Selection happens. I'll take y'all there, how does that sound?" She asked

"We would love that, right Jaeger-kun" Hinata asked me

I said "It would be an honor" while bowing

After 6 Relentless days of training with Shinobu, we had sharpened our skills further. I found out that I had Light Breathing, which no one heard of. So now I had to work on making breathing forms. Shinobu however was surprised at how much stronger Hinata and I became.

"Ok I would like to tell y'all how strong you are now" Shinobu said

"How will you do that?" Hinata asked

"Y'all strength has significantly increase, for example the weakest Hashira being me, stands around 1,230 p, while you two are around 320 P. A average beginner would be 70 P"

"You really think so?" I asked

"I'm certain" she said

"What about any demons, where would they stand" I asked

"Hmm, a typical demon around 200 p, non typical 400 p, lower moon demon 880 P, upper moon demon 1,200 - 9,000" she said

"What's the upper moon and lower demon" Hinata asked

After giving us a brief history lesson, telling us about the 12 kizuki and Muzan. She stood up

"now let's get on our way" she said with a snap

And just like that we were at the Final Selection

"Whoa! That was so cool" Hinata said

I decided to take a look around at all the other contestants. I saw many unique people such as a red hair boy, boar head kid, scaredy cat, Mohawk mullet kid, short kid, and many more

Soon after a couple hours, the exams started (gonna skip the exam cuz why not) and Hinata and I passed with flying colors, infact we were the top 5 for the amount of demons we slayed

1. Shikazume Chianti- 52 demons
2. Y/N Jaeger- 39 demons
3. Reikou Shiranui- 27 demons
4. Hinata Inou- 19 demons
5. Tie: Kesshuu Otsuka + Kimura Fubuki- 17 demons

I must say I am indeed proud of myself for coming in second. Daki-Sama would also be proud of me. I was now then daydreaming about Daki-Sama

"Oi you there" a boy said

I turned my head, "What"

"I must say your skills are quite impressive but nothing compared to mine" he said

ah so he's one of those guys, "cool" I said as I begin to walk off

"Wait, tell me your name, your worthy to be a rival of mine" he said

"Y/N Jaeger" I said

"I am Yukio Matsumoto, remember it, you may leave now" he said

Seriously the nerve of this guy, someone needs to humble him. Whatever. I started walking off then I caught sight of Hinata talking to another girl. Not long after she spotted me too and waved me over.

"Jaeger-kun come here!" She said

As I was walking over, I said "Hey"

"I can't believe you slayed 39 demons!" She exclaimed
