you knocked on Max's door, she peaked out the window before opening the door and removing her walkman from her ears

"y/n what do you want?" she rolled her eyes and sighed

"you wanted to spend more time together so why not a sleepover!!" you smiled widely entering her house before she could stop you

"y/n i'm not in the mood..." she followed you in her room where you plop onto her bed

"come on Max...i'm trying here" you sighed laying down on her bed staring at her ceiling

"fine just don't touch my stuff" she slightly smiled and placed her walkman on her desk before plopping on the bed beside you

"so..how's your mom? everything okay?" you sat up to face Max

"yeah she's fine, tired mostly but she's okay" Max sighs looking back at you then at her hands

"what about your dad?" she adds on

"well i uh moved out..temporarily i'm living with Eddie" you also sighed but continued to smile

"what about your mom? she's coming to visit right.." Max tilted her head slightly while she questioned

"she's obviously coming over to brag about her new life or looking for money so i'm not that looking forward to it" you sighed once more

you and Max talked for hours about your family problems, the whole Steve situation and how happy you were now with Eddie which Max still seemed pretty disgusted by which made you laugh

"how's school? and Ms Kelly" you concerned for Max who hasn't been feeling like herself this week

"well it's a shithole but it's fine" she joked and she rolled her eyes, rolled over on the bed and stared at the ceiling

"what about you" she added

"it fucking sucks, I'm constantly being tortured by Jason and others then you and Robin are the only people i talk to so i have no friends so yeah....what a shithole" you sighed rolling over beside Max staring at the wall too while you joked

"maybe Jason is jealous? and why don't you go and make friends like how you and me became friends?" Max shifted her head to face yours smiling

"Jason? Jealous? how on earth would he be jealous of me??" you questioned as you furrowed your brows looking confused

"maybe not of you but of Eddie..i mean have you seen yourself y/n...your like the prettiest in the school" Max exclaims now sitting up bringing you up with her

"what? Max..Jason is dating Chrissy and i'm not the prettiest no one even notices me.."you sounded confused and a little upset

"make people notice you, only if you want too i guess i mean...don't give a fuck you know...don't care about anyone else" Max tries to explain, Max is such a good friend you thought to yourself which made you smile

"yeah...thanks Max" you smile and pull her in for a warm small hug which makes Max smile slightly

"i'm tired we should sleep" Max pulling away from the hug and checking the alarm clock on her nightstand

you nod and you both get into the bed and soon enough fall asleep. during the middle of the night the sound of shifting in the bed woke you up slightly, you knew it was Max but you were so tired and half asleep that you just went back to sleep.

you woke to the sun lighting the room, your eyes fluttered open while you stretched and yawned you turn to see Max wasn't in the bed nor room so you got up and walked into the living room seeing Max sitting down reading a book with her walkman playing, she noticed you walked in and removed the walkman from her ears

"hey.."she said quietly while she smiled slightly

"hey.." you replied returning a smile and sitting next to her

"are you okay? last night i heard you?" you questioned while you turned on the television

"yeah uh just a nightmare.." she muttered while she closed her book and placed in on the table

"i hate nightmares..i had one the other night but you know they aren't real it's all in your head" you joked switching off the television since there was nothing interesting to your liking on it

"yeah..." Max muttered again looking at you then at her hands

"well i have to go out with Eddie, he has band practice and he wants me to watch but last night was fun..." you smiled at Max while you stood up grabbing your bag and walking to the door

"yeah...i'll see you later y/n" Max smiled in return while she followed you to the door and waved goodbye

you quickly walk over to Eddie's and quietly opening the door assuming he's still asleep, you walk in and drop your bag to the ground, you slowly and quiet walk over and open Eddie's door slightly to see him sleeping peacefully. you carefully crawl on top of Eddie and you started kissing him, you kissed his lips softly moving down to his jaw down to his neck and eventually to his chest, he woke up to your lips gently pecking and tickling his skin, his arms wrapped around you while he smiled and looked at you deeply and lovingly

"well you have band practice so we can't be late Eddie..." you giggled knowing what he's planning to do
