after your quick phone call with Steve you hung up and turned over to see Eddie still fast asleep on the couch, you quietly walked over to Eddie and slowly rotate his wrist to show the time on his watch, it was late. you sat beside Eddie and gently nudged his shoulder

"Eddie...Eddie.." you said quietly

"hmm.." he hummed as he moved slightly

"it's late come on let's get into bed.." you say softly pulling his arm

"okay..okay" he said in a tired sleepy voice getting up from the couch and stumbling into the bedroom

you pulled his body down on the bed helping him take off his clothes so he's comfortable, he quickly got into the bed dragging you in with him which made you giggle as your head rests on his chest then eventually falling asleep in his arms

~~~next morning~~~

you woke up to the sunlight shining bright on your face, opening your eyes you noticed Eddie's body was pressed against yours, his arm hooked around your waist. after almost 3 weeks of avoiding Eddie and almost losing him you felt relieved and comfortable to be where you are right now, for awhile you admired him sleeping then gently lift his arm from your waist and slithered out of his bed, you put on one of Eddie's t-shirts with shorts and leave his room, once you were fixing the shirt you looked up and froze when you Wayne Eddie's uncle standing at the kitchen counter now looking at you

"you must be y/n.." he said smiling slightly

"yeah i am, it's uh..nice to meet you" you nervously laugh

"nice to meet you too..listen tell Eddie i'm going to work and uh..behave" he said chuckling as he hurried to leave

you stood still and watched as the door closed you were so embarrassed you had to first meet Wayne in Eddie's clothes and coming out of his bedroom, you laughed quietly to yourself and went to the bathroom to take a shower

halfway into your shower you heard the bathroom door opened and Eddie walked in and started brushing his teeth

"Eddie.." you said almost laughing

"what.." he replied in a sleeping woken up tone

"i met your uncle Wayne this morning.." you giggle while Eddie quickly pulled the shower curtains

"you what?" he said confused and surprised

"yeah.." you said pulling the curtains back to cover your naked body

"well shit...i wanted him to meet you the traditional way" he sighed continuing to brush his teeth spitting the toothpaste into the sink

"Eddie it's fine...he already knew about me anyways so it's cool" you said getting out of the shower wrapping a towel around your body while you catch Eddie staring
"eyes up here Munson" you joked leaving the bathroom and getting dressed

"sorry sweetheart.." he smirked following behind

"okay uh i'm going to Family Video i'll be back later" you say ready to go rushing out the door while your stopped by Eddie who now gently holded your wrist pulling you into him

"what are you doing at Family Video?" he asked as he arms wrapped around your waist and your arms rested on his neck

"Robin and Steve got me a application to work there i just need to speak with this guy Keith" you say looking up into his brown eyes deeply

"now you can get us free movies?" he smiled widely making you laugh

"i'll sneak a few okay? i got to go i'm going to be late" you laugh kissing his cheek and going out the door and into your car

you walk into Family Video, hearing the small bell ring Robin looks up and smiles

"Keith's in the back, good luck...and uh be careful he's a bit.." Robin says as she gives you a weird and gross expression making you laugh

"okay thanks Robin" you chuckled as you walked into the small office where Keith sat at reading a nerdy comic

~~~~~~(Steve's Pov)~~~~~~

after finishing stocking up shelves i turned around and saw y/n go into Keith's office, i was really glad when y/n agreed to apply here so i could spend more time with her even if it's just platonic friends, Robin noticed that i was acting off with y/n here and strongly nudged me on the shoulder

"what?" i said confused looking at Robin while she rolled her eyes

"Steve Steve Steve..you need to stop liking y/n and get back out there....your seriously depressing me with this total nonsense" she complained though i admired how she can read a person so easily

"listen Buckley i don't like her anymore it's just..weird" i said trying to make a believable but partly true excuse

"weird?" she replied confused

"her and Eddie you know...happy couple again after a serious messed up fight" i explained sighing leaning against the counter

" well i mean...couples fight Steve...doesn't exactly mean they don't love eachother..i think.." Robin replied but second guessing herself

"i know but-" i was about to say but was instantly cut off by seeing y/n come back from Keith's office with a big smile on her face

"i got the job!" she exclaims jumping up and down

"holy shit! i knew you would" Robin smiled celebrating with y/n

"hey! don't get too excited this place is a total shithole after a week of working here" i joke as y/n gave me a small soft hug which made me nervously laugh in the moment

"well i'm going to go tell Eddie, see you guys later!" y/n says happily and walking out the store

i watched y/n leave and drive off while staring from the counter, i suddenly got a slap on the back of the head from Robin smiling slightly but also looked annoyed

"get back to work dingus" she rolled her eyes and continued going back to sorting out tapes

~~~~~~(Y/n's Pov)~~~~~~~

once you drove back to Eddie's you got inside and saw Eddie sitting on the couch with a cigarette between his lips while playing on his guitar but quickly stopped and placed the guitar down gently beside while he saw you walk in

"hey how did it go?" he asked getting up and wrapping his arms around you

"i got the job!" you said happily watching Eddie's smile grow

"that's great..." he smiled kissing your forehead then your lips

"i also got this..." you smirked pulling a movie tape from your jacket pocket and waving it in your hand

Eddie smirked back placing another kiss on your lips and you both sat down on the couch and watched the movie, midway through the movie you had fallen asleep, Eddie played with your hair and wrapped a blanket around you, after the movie was over Eddie switched everything off and carried you bridal style into his bed, he holded you in his arms as he admired you before drifting of to sleep.
