He look at me straightly on the eye. And on that moment, I don't know why I feel like crying.
“Let's end this.”
Kunot noong lumapit ako sa kanya. “Please repeat it. I might heard it wrongly.” I said while my voice are shaking.
“I said, I am breaking up with you. Let's end this,” malamig na aniya.
I swallowed the lump on my throat. “What? Is this a prank? Are you playing prank on me? Babe gantihan ba 'to? W-Well if this is a prank, then it's not a good j-joke . . .”
Sunod-sunod na tumulo ang mga luha ko. As seeing his whole face, I couldn't sense a joke.
Hinampas ko siya sa dibdib. “Ano ba! Magsalita ka naman! Give a reason why suddenly you want to end this up!”
Kasi tangina hindi ko maintindihan kong bakit biglang ganito na kami. Hindi lang kami nagkasama ng ilang araw ganito na, nakikipaghiwalay na siya.
He stared at me coldly. “I am serious. This is serious.”
I gulp. “Reasons then?”
He shrugged. “Just got tired with putting up with you.”
“Bullshit.”
“Leyan listen. Magulo pa ngayon. We can't be happy, not until we solve this mystery and end up knowing who's the real villain.”
Umiling ako at mapait na napangiti. “Okay. If this is want you want, then fine. Let's end this up and never cross our paths again.”
