𝐂𝐎𝐁𝐘 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐋𝐄𝐅𝐓 𝐉𝐉'𝐒 𝐃𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐁𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐀 𝐅𝐄𝐖 blocks away from the camerons' mansion, not wanting ward to see or hear her approaching. as she rode over there, sarah came up in her mind, reminding her that if she did end up kill ward, sarah would be fatherless. coby knew how that felt and she didn't want sarah to feel that pain and emptiness that she felt. her dad hadn't sent her a letter from jail in years, so she just stopped writing. but if coby had ended up killing ward, she would lose sarah. and she couldn't lose her, not after everything they've been through. she walked through the big yard, looking around to make sure that no one had seen her. instead of risking entering the house and going up to sarah's room, she climbed up the side of the mansion and knocked on sarah's window. she made sure that the gun she had was in the back of her waistband and covered by her shirt.

sarah opened the window up, a look on her face as she moved back to let coby in. once the taller girl was inside fully, sarah wrapped her arms around her waist, making coby wince slightly. not only was she sore because of the wound that was on her stomach, but she knew that sarah had felt the gun in her waistband. sarah pulled away slightly, gently lifting the back of coby's shirt up as she turned the sawyer girl around. "jake, why do you have a gun?" the blonde questioned, looking at the door to make sure that it was closed.
