𝐂𝐎𝐁𝐘 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐄𝐓𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐍 jj and pope, the curly haired girl sitting right across from sarah. coby wasn't expecting for the plane to have a lot of room, but she also wasn't expecting it to be filled with clutter. her leg had been bouncing anxiously, watching jimmy do everything he needed to do to start the plane up. sarah was watching her closely, knowing that she was mad at the fact that they had to leave the beautiful island that they've called home the last month.
"so what were you doing all the way out here?" jj questioned, raising his voice so that jimmy could hear him over the engine.
"i got a little guide outfit in saint vincent. i was spotting fish." jimmy answered.
"what were you spotting?" jj asked.
"you know, the usual. wahoo." jimmy replied, making coby, jj, and john b all share a knowing look with one another. they may not have been very aware of time during the last month, but they knew that wahoo fish isn't available during this time of year. "i'd hang onto something. gets a little spicy on takeoff."
coby clenched her jaw as she grabbed onto one of the ropes, her eyes going over to sarah. the cameron girl looked at her with furrowed eyebrows, noticing the look on coby's face. the sawyer girl simply didn't say anything, mad at herself for even letting her and the pogues get on this stupid plane. she should've known that something was up. she sucked in a deep breath as the plane took off, not liking how much it was shaking. she had only been on a plane once, and that was when her and taylor came back to obx after their father was sentenced.
