you make me smile in many ways,
from the crazy antics to every praise
your words always leave me in daze
like a sun shining on rainy days
you even use sweet words so easily
yet i still find myself smiling widely
i often think that i'm being silly
so i just always end up saying "really"
too good to be true words and actions,
the gleeful feeling in every interaction
oh boy you really are a distraction
yet i can't stop feeling an attraction
you always treat me like a royalty
and it's like you value me so highly
as if you'll provide a heavy penalty
to anyone who'd treat me with cruelty
beautiful, pretty, cute and gorgeous
these compliments are enormous
you give a lot of them, mr. generous
even your smiles are contagious
your voice is an underrated song
one i'd play on repeat all day long
a sound that makes me strong
one I'll run to when things go wrong
i know i'm old enough to take a hint
that some men can be persistent
they also promise commitment
and mayhaps you're not different
but you make me feel like one
and these words will never be undone
