The sound of beeping and the smell of smoke woke me up from my peaceful sleep.
"Fuck!" I cursed as I jumped out of bed and felt the door handle with the back of my hand so I wouldn't get burned.
"Okay, easy does it" I whispered to myself.
I turned the handle and ducked low waiting for anything. Smoke, more smoke. I rushed over to Joe's room and he was still asleep.
"Joey!" I yelled and he didn't respond.
"Fuck Joe!" I screamed jumping on him.
"What" he asked grumpily.
"Fire alarm, check on Alfie and Zoe and I'll see the problem." I said and he nodded.
I got off him and crouched again making my way over to the stairs.
"Just remember to crouch because air rises!" I yelled over to Joe after I took a few steps.
When I finished the stairs I made my way to the kitchen to see the source of the smoke.
"Get away from there Zoe!" I yelled when I saw Zoe trying to control the smoke.
She ducked down and moved over to the stairs.
"Okay, it's just smoke. Can't hurt you, everything's okay" I said to myself then stood up.
I coughed and coughed looking for the source. The oven. I grabbed the hem of my shirt and lifted it over my head to act as a oven mitt. I placed it in my hands and opened the oven. A cloud of smoke came out and I took a breath and held it. Something was in there, with the slightest fire that I had to get out. Time for the shirt. I repositioned t on my hands and moved the tray out and sat it in the sink.
"Open the windows! Turn on the fans! Do anything to get rid of this smoke!" I yelled through the house and heard clicks of buttons and windows.
I sat my shirt on the side bench and swung my hands around to get rid of some smoke. I ran cold water over the food and the fire sizzled and disappeared. I grabbed my shirt again and lifted the tray out of the sink and put the food into the bin out the back.
"Everything's all good!" I yelled as I entered the house.
"Most of the smokes cleared" Joe said coming from the stairs and stopping.
"What?" I asked confused.
"You have no shirt on?" Joe laughed as if it was obvious.
"No I have a shirt on?" I asked confused.
"Look" he laughed harder.
"Oh" I said looking down and my face going red with embarrassment.
"Why are you laughing?" Zoe and Alfie asked walking into the room.
Their eyes immediately moved away.
"Shit, I threw my shirt in the bin" I said under my breath.
"What was that, love?" Joe asked stepping closer.
"I threw my shirt in the bin?" I said.
"Go get it then" Joe laughed.
"Ew, it was one of your shirts too" I lied.
"What?" He asked confused.
"Your shirt is in the bin, love" I mocked.
"No way" he said running outside.
"Was it really his?" Zoe asked after I covered myself with my hands.
"Nope, it's just so he can go and get my shirt" I smirked.
"Genius" Alfie laughed.
"I'm gonna go hide, because who knows what he'll do" I said running away and trying to find a place to hide.
He'd probably check in my room so I went into his and squirmed under the bed. A book was infront of my face named journal/diary and I had to read it. I chose the 1st of May, 2015.
Dear thing,
I never knew Jemima could be such a badass and do all those things. I didn't mean to point the knife at her and I regret it. The thing is I got kinda jealous because I thought she was cheating on me but she would never do that would she? When I was trying to find Jemima my ex girlfriend Cassidy came up to me and said she missed me and wants me back but she's the one that cheated on me. The next thing was the most idiotic thing she's done in a long time, she kissed me. I pushed her away and ran. I didn't know where to but I ran. I felt the most guilt inside of me it was unbearable. My mind was telling me I couldn't go find Jemima because she wouldn't forgive me but my heart was telling me she would. I love Jemima with all my heart and nothing can get it the way of that. I don't know how to tell her this because I fear she will hate me forever and move back to Australia and I feel that if she does she takes a part of my heart away with her. So what I'm trying to say is I love her more than you could imagine.

As I read this there were tear stains smudging the writing. I heard footsteps come into Joes room and I stayed quiet and put the book down.
"I don't know how to tell her" Joe whispered to himself slamming the door shut.
I knew this wasn't the right move but I ripped out the page as quietly as I could and placed it on the floor so it looks like I didn't ready his diary.
"Tell me that she kissed you?" I asked climbing out from under the bed when Joe has his back to me.
I had tears down my face but not sad ones, happy ones.
"Now I'm just imagining her speaking to me" he whispered.
"Joseph" I said louder but not in a mean way.
he turned around, his eyes red and puffy from crying and looked utterly shocked.
"Tell me that she kissed you?" I asked.
"H-how do you know?" He said standing up.
"Look under your bed and on your floor" I said pointing to it and he grabbed the thing.
"I'm so sorry, she kissed me it wasn't my fault, you mean the world to me and I couldn't come to my senses to tell you. If you ever left me you'd take my heart away, I can't imagine it without y-" he said but got cut off by me pressing my lips to his.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and smiled into the kiss. We moved in sync, his arms around my waist and my arms around his neck. He pushed me into the bed and kissed me again and again. Let's just say things lead on from there.
(Can't imagine writing smut, if some of you readers want that shit find another story because it's defiantly not going in mine. Let's continue on with the story,)
I lay there under the covers, naked and breathing heavy.
"I'm gonna go and have a bath" I said standing up and running to grab my clothes from the floor of Joes room.
"Can I join?" Joe asked from the bed.
"Sure, if you want." I said slipping on my clothes and going to run and bath but got stopped by Zoe.
she pulled me into her room and shut the door quietly.
"Yes Zoe?" I asked scared.
"You found out didn't you?" She asked as nervous as I am.
"Yes" I answered truthfully.
"What did you do to him? Why did you hit him" she asked getting serious.
"What? I didn't him him" I said completely confused.
"What was those noises then?" She asked.
"Um" I said nervously.
"Tell me" she said angrily.
"I kinda lost my virginity to your brother" I whispered so on,y she could hear.
"You did what?" She asked, maybe because she couldn't hear me.
"I, lost my virginity to your brother" I said normally.
"Oh" she said looking at the floor.
My face went red with embarrassment.
"Is that all you need to know?" I asked looking at her.
"Yeah" she mumbled and left the room.
I walked out of her room and into the bathroom and started running the bath.
"Hey Zo! Can I use one of your bath bombs?" I said walking downstairs and into the lounge room to Zoe and Joe talking.
"Oh sorry I'll just leave" I said awkwardly walking back upstairs.
"Hey Alfie?" I asked walking into Zoe's room to see him sitting on the bed with his lap top.
"So your lost your virginity to Joe huh?" He asked raising and eyebrow at me.
I felt my face burn up and asked "how do you know?"
"I was lying on the bed duh?" He said like it was that obvious.
"Oh, well would you think Zoe would care if I used one of her bath bombs?" I asked.
"No, go ahead" he smiled and I thanked him, walking back over to the bathroom.
i put a rainbow coloured bomb in the bath and shut the door. I was waking to my room when I heard yelling.
"I love her!" Joe yelled.
"Then why did you kiss Cassidy?!" Zoe yelled back.
"I never would kiss that slut bag again! My heart belongs to her!" Joe yelled.
"Okay, I believe you but if your hurt her your fucking screwed" Zoe's voice muffled.
I walked down the stairs like nothing happened but then popped the question "why can't you believe him Zo?"
"You heard it?" She asked with worry in her tone.
"Yes, you were yelling through house. How couldn't I?" I asked as if it was obvious.
"Well I don't know. I just can't think of what it'd be like if he broke your heart" she said sadly.
"I never would," Joe said.
"Even if he did Zo, I still love him and I know he'd regret everything" I smiled.
"Okay" she said.
"Baths ready" I smiled at Joe and he said good bye to Zoe and we went upstairs and into the bathroom.
I got into the massive bath with Joe behind and he asked, "did you really lose your virginity to me?"
"Yeah" i said sheepishly.
"Okay" he said than we just shared a few laughs and the rest of the day was a movie marathon.
