"Wake up, Mr. Freeman. Wake up, and smell the ashes." - G-Man.
After playing Prop Hunt. The group returned back to Terraria, while the others are busy with their own devices, Andy went to find Merlin.
"He should be around here somewhere..." Andy muttered.
Yellow let out a growl, which makes Andy's eyes twitched. "Of course not, I didn't forget about the telepathic connections..."
Now, come to think of it, how the heck do he need to do to communicate telepathicaly with Merlin?
Hmm....
After a few tries, he finally get to communicate with his Servant.
"Merlin, are you there?"
"Took you long enough to find out about telepathic communication." Merlin responded as he is clearly amused.
"Shut up."
"Anyway, is there something that you need?"
"I... I want you to teach me about magics."
"Sure, meet me in the training grounds." The wizard requested before cutting off their telepathic link.
~Timeskip~
Opening the door, Andy was greeted by the sights of training dummys and target practices. Now wearing a white shirt and green pants, his gray hair with few light blue strands is now available for everyone to see.
He spotted a familiar wizard waiting for him, sitting on a chair. The wizard smiled as Andy approached him.
"Good morning, Master. How are you feeling today?" Merlin greeted.
"Feeling fresh and good, anyway what are we going to do for the training?" The Spy main asked.
"We will start with the basics first. A simple wind spell would do." Everything has a beginning after all, you can't just simply going through shortcuts to achieve it.
"Now, close your eyes, reach out to your soul, think as if your blood is a soft breeze, and then grasp it." Merlin instructed.
Andy do what he asked, he can feel the blood in his body akin to a soft breeze out in the open. As he resonates with his own soul, he finds himself on top of a hill. The winds softly brushed against his cheeks, he lift his hand on the sky, before clenching it as a spark of power emitted through his body.
He felt like on his hands, there was a concentrated ball of energy. Once he opened his eyes, the feeling immediately dissapears.
"Not bad, but it seems that you have low magic affinity." Merlin's voice brought him back to reality, a small dissapointed frown is visible upon Andy's face at that comment.
"But don't worry, at least you can still learn basic magics, and who knows, maybe in the future it is possible for you to learn advanced magics." The wizard reassured him.
Andy can only sigh, it seems like he is going to spend half a year for this. Or worse, more than a year.
"Focus on your training, you need to get used to constant use of mana, we will stop when you feel exhausted." Merlin informed.
A d*ck he may be, but the wizard is a good teacher, at least Andy knows that he will be in good hands.
The Spy main panted as he wiped a bead of sweat on his forehead.. It was quite exhausting for him really, not even his fifth time casting a spell and he is already exhausted.
"That's enough for now." Merlin called from the distance. "We should continue this tomorrow."
"Yeah... I think I'm going to lay down here for a while..." Andy panted before he lay on the ground.
"Sure. Don't forget to take a shower as well."
Andy listened to Merlin's footsteps as the sound faded as he got further away. His eyes focused on the sky while consciously avoiding the sun light.
"Hah... Why is this so damn hard..."
He knew that he have low magic affinity, but he thought that he can last a little longer. Is he really not fit for using magic?
He shakes his head at that. No. He isn't going to let that stop him from using magic. The Spy main let himself bathe under the sun light for a couple of minutes before deciding to go to take a bath.
An assassin that can't learn to adapt is a dead assassin.
~Timeskip~
It's night, Andy sat on the bed inside his room. Glancing at the familiar knife on top of the drawer, next to it is a lamp and also some familiar tools.
He shifted his gaze to the clock on the wall, a few more hours before midnight. He guessed that everyone aside from Vitch is asleep, he doesn't know what the Assassin is doing but he couldn't care less about it.
Now wearing a black with gray stripes pajamas and matching long pants. Andy brushed his hair from covering his eyes. Why is he still awake? He should be sleeping right now. Maybe it was because of his old habits? Or is it because of the thought that occur earlier when he was training?
Shaking his head, he turned his head to the window, where he can see the moon.
"I wonder why G-Man and Zelretch still didn't contacted me yet." He wondered.
Sometimes, he wondered why G-Man chose him specificaly out of many humans that existed back on his Earth. He also wonders why most of the time, his cosplay is good that people almost mistake him as the real deal. It might be because of how back on Earth, he always train his voice for voice acting.
For example. The reason why people kept relating him to Albedo is because of how his voice almost resembles him and how his cosplay of him seems perfect.
Although despite that, he never was the man that would be a voice actor. No matter how good his voice may be.
It's been a month since the two multiversal beings had last contacted the Spy main. It is possible that they are busy with their work, but a mail from them would be nice.
He have a gut feeling that the next universe isn't one that he is familiar to. A world where his knowledge is useless, a world where he will have to go in blindly.
There is also another problem other than the gut feeling he has been having. The Tool Gun is restricted to summoning weapon and objects only, he can't summon NPCs to work for him.
No matter, he isn't going to worry about that. Right now he should go to sleep. He lay on his bed, pulling the blanket over to his shoulders before closing his eyes. He remembered an old habit he had back then in his old world before going to sleep and does so.
Allowing the darkness to take him to dreamland, where weird crap bounds to happen. Like that one time everyone is G-Man.
In the darkness, something started to make it's move to the world of Terraria, slowly but surely. The pieces has been set, and it won't be the only one making its way to the world.
As a new and familiar enemies has finally entered the fray. That shall rain chaos and destruction to the world...
