we see the planters, y/n, and Anne riding Bessie on a dirt path.

hop pop: " ah a leisurely outing with Bessie why she can go anywhere do anything."

sprig: " oh! can we go and get swamp slushies? they have new favors."

y/n: " oh yeah that please."

hop pop: *laughs* " no."

Polly: " can we go off-road and do some crazy stunts?"

hop pop: *laughing* " double nope."

Anne: " oh oh can I drive?"

hop pop: " sure."

Anne: " aww come on hop pop- wait really?"

hop pop: " absolutely I've been trying to teach this guy for years."

he points to sprig

sprig: " it's true."

Anne: " All right give me those reins I'm ready to drive."

y/n: " yeah! she's super ready."

they got home and hop pop grabbed a book and set it on a log.

hop pop: " not before reading this you ain't."

Anne and y/n looks at the book very confused.

hop pop: " this is Bessie's history before touching a snail rein you've got to know em' feel their heartbeat next to yours."

Anne: " hop pop it's just a vehicle we had a family car back home no biggie."

y/n: " oh are 'cars' like Bessie?"

Anne: " yeah sorta."

hop pop shoves the book into her hands not even listening.

Anne: " are there pictures?"

hop pop: " there are diagrams.~"

Anne: " NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

y/n covers their ears as she screams.

hop pop: " dramatic much and stop screaming y/n's ears have been sensitive lately."

Anne: " right sorry y/n..."

y/n uncovers his ears.

y/n: " oh it's ok."

hop pop: " now if you'll excuse me Polly's due for a wash."

hop pop picks up Polly and heads to the house.

polly: " no no wait no! I'll just get dirty again you can't stop me I learned this from watching you Anne!"

they head inside.

y/n: " ... how Anne's pretty clean and always smells nice."

Anne: *blushes a little* " y/n... stop saying stuff like that..."

y/n: " I'll try to remember not to."

Anne rolls her eyes and grabs the book.

Anne: " ugh I'll be old before I finish this thing..."

y/n: " yeah and it'll cut into cuddle time."

sprig: " I only ever got 5 pages in soooo good luck with that."

Anne: *sighs* " this is ridiculous I don't need a story!"

she hops on Bessie's saddle as jay backs up a little.
