The village in Romania started to have to light up it's paths, you lay sound asleep in your bed until the sunlight from the window began to peek through the cracks in your blinds. You smile, the day was bright and beautiful, a perfect day to be you! You had remembered you had ordered something from the Duke, a couple of sketchbooks and a pencil kit, since it was Sunday, you would love to take a Sunday stroll by yourself. You quickly hop out of bed and run downstairs, you are greeted by your mother who had cooked you breakfast while you were getting ready. After telling her your plan, she reminds you to be careful and not to let your gaurd down, afterall you were only a teenager. You remind her that she has nothing to worry about and that you can take care of yourself just fine. Once she is satisfied with your answer, she kisses you on the cheek and you're out the door with your satchel hung over your shoulder on your way to the Duke.

Your walk to the Duke wasn't too bad, no one had bothered you and you felt the a sense or safety in the peaceful quietness the path brought. You finally arrive at the Duke who seemed to be smoking his cigar, you smile as you walk up to him, you catch is eye."Ah! Goodmorning Y/N my dear! Been a while since I've seen you hasn't it?" He said greeting you with a warm welcome, you giggle."Hello Duke, it's good to see you, I've been backed up with all the tests and assignments my school has been throwing at us. Do you have my package?" The Duke smiles."Indeed I do my darling, I have it right here!" He said reaching behind him and grabbing a small wrapped box, you smile as you pay him with the lei you had saved to buy these supplies."Pleasure doing business with you my dear! Safe travels as always!" He said sweetly, you smile as you wave goodbye to him.

You quickly tuck the parcel in your satchel as you walk, the path you took seemed to be a little more crowded now since the village started to wake up. You happened to cross a man who was smoking a cigarette outside his house. He smiled at you as he threw his cigarette on the floor effectively snuffing it out."Hey hey there baby! You're looking hella fine this fine morning!" He shouts at you, you roll your eyes at him, ignoring his antics, he didn't seem to like that."Ey! Didn't your mom teach you manners?!" He shouted again, you start to speed up, he takes this as an opportunity to grab you from behind and pin you to the ground. You make no noise but you desperately try to fight him off you, he's too heavy to push off, his hands are pining yours to the ground making it impossible to move. Your heart begins to speed up, you want this to stop, you hate this, you want him to stop, you close your eyes as they begin to water. Suddenly, he was pushed off you and onto his side."Back the FUCK up!" A voice yelled, a feminine voice. You look up to see a girl maybe about your age towering above you, she has blonde hair and baby blue eyes. She's wearing a black shirt and green jacket along with a pair of jeans and converse shoes. A black baseball cap sat on her head."Ayo! I didn't want no trouble lady!" The man said frantically, the girl furrowed her eyebrows."Get the hell outta here! Now!" She yelled, the man obeyed her and scurried off, leaving you on the floor. She bent down to your level noticing your parcel on the floor, it must've fallen out of your satchel."You okay?" She asks, her voice and face both expressing concern, you sniff and nod as you grab the parcel out her hands. She gently wipes your tears away with her sleeve, you feel comforted and safe when she does."What's your name?" You blurt not knowing what to say, the girl smiles."I'm Rosemary, you?" That name sounded fimilar to you."Y/N, Y/N L/N." You reply, she smiles."I know you, aren't you in Mr. Castro's science class?" She asks, oh, no wonder she sounds familiar, you nod."Thank you Rosemary, for saving my life."

"Hey don't mention it! I'm just glad I was around to help."She stands up and holds out her hand for you, you happily take it and stand up."ROSEMARY!" A voice called, a brunette woman came running towards you and Rosemary, she looked almost like Rosemary."Rose! You can't just run off like that!" The woman scolds."Sorry mom, this is Y/N by the way." Rosemary says gesturing to you, the woman's face contorts from frustrated to calm."Oh, hello Y/N, I'm Mia Winters, Rosemary's mother." She says extending her hand out, you happily take it."Nice to meet you Mrs. Winters, your daughter saved my life." You say making Rose blush, Mia raised an eyebrow."Is that so? What happend?" You explain everything, slowly Mia's face glows with pride as she hears the story of how her daughter saved you."That's my Rose alright, always doing the right thing!" She says rustling with Rose's hair."Do you need us too walk you home Y/N sweetheart?" Mia asks."No it's alright thank you, my home is not too far from here." You explain, Mia nods and walks off."See you at school tomorrow Y/N?" Rosemary asks, you nod your head, she winks at you. You just made a friend with the girl who just saved your life a minute ago.
