Well guys, here it is. Meet the protagonist of Feral, Misty! This is her at the start of the story, a little more than five months old. The angry-looking one is her as a little kitten, so small she didn't have a collar.

I know it looks like GrayPillow's style, and that's because I did the lineart ages ago, and my style was much more influenced by hers.

"At midday Freya bounced upstairs to the laundry room, where Eva had a puzzle laid out. Freya, being an enthusiastic and perky sort of kitten, did not walk. She bounced.

She bounced onto the landing—pausing for a moment to sharpen her tiny claws on the banister, bounced through the bathroom (one had to walk through the bathroom to access the laundry room) and finally bounced up onto the table upon which sat a sewing machine, an empty glass that had once held water, and a half-finished puzzle.

In the flick of a paw there was only a machine and puzzle.

She chewed on two pieces and carried a third downstairs to her bed, where she hid it next to the sock she had pilfered from Eva's bedroom drawer, and a crumpled dollar bill she had found deep in a fresh basket of warm laundry."
