Chapter 23

After settling everything for Abhi's treatment. Kartik came with coffee for both the girls and himself.

Naira: Kartik call Abhi's parents. Inform them about Abhi. They will be happy. Dad told me everyone's condition is miserable there.
Kartik: No naira. Not now.
Naira (taking her phone from pocket): Main inform kar deti hoon. They will be happy.

Kartik snatched phone from her hand.

Kartik (warning tone): I am warning you don't do that.
Naira (irritated): Tum pagal ho gaye ho? Tumhe pata bhi hain unka kya haal ho raha hain.
Vaish (held naira's hand): Guys calm down. We are in hospital. Please calm down.

Kartik looked at Vaish and took deep breath.

Kartik: Tumhe call par pata chala. Uncle informed you tabhi pata chala but I was there these two days. Maine khud unki condition dekhi. Even main khud us condition ko feel karke aaya hoon. Kyaaraa is crying uncontrollably. Siddharth is having high fever. Dadi kuch bol hi nahin rahi hain. Uncle and Aunty kaise batau I don't know. You know I felt relieved jab Abhi ki breathing feel ki. I can understand this better than you.
Naira (clapping her hands, sarcastically): What a friend you are. Tum sab khud dekh kar aaye, feel karke aaye ho. Khud ko Abhi relief mili still you want his family to suffer.
Kartik (cups naira's face with teary eyes): Tum to mujhe har waqt bina kahe samajhti ho. Aaj meri friendship par doubt kyun phir?
Naira (closed her eyes, calmly): Tum baat hi aese kar rahe ho.
Kartik (held her hands): Listen Naira aesa nahin hain main unko nahin batana chahta but you also know Abhi par attack hua hain. It was all planned not an accident. Huh!! I doubt ke koi kingdom se hi hain uske ye sab karne wala. Okay!! Just answer me a few questions then uske baad jo bologi I will do.

Naira nodded. Vaish was silent, keenly listening their words.

Kartik: See firstly jin questions ke base par humne investigation ki and also after investigation you are also agreeing ke ye accident nahin planned tha?
Naira (nodded): Yaa... I mean Rahul sir ke name se bhulana and then on exact time that explosion.
Kartik: Yes... Now listen to my words carefully then answer me. After abhi left for chemical lab. Chemical explosion hua and hum vaha chemistry lab gaye and everything all this took hardly 20mins till we saw a burnt body?
Naira: Umm... Yes.
Kartik: Alright. Uske baad hum logo sab accept karne me hi time laga and aesa nahin ke we are famous students here or anything. So hum me se kisi ne inform nahin kiya Jaipur me in 20mins about all this.
Naira (confused): Haan?
Kartik: Remember hume uncle and aunty ka call aaya asking about Abhi. How they got to know this soon. Itne me hum khud sure nahin the ke abhi safe hain ya dead hain. But they got to know. 

Naira looked at him wide eyes open.

Kartik: Naira aese bhi nahin ke unko pata chala ke college me kuch hua hain. They exactly got to know ke Abhi ko kuch hua hain. How?

Naira (nodded): Okay. So now?
Kartik: See we really don't know ke kaun tha vo but Naira now the thing is if humne Abhi ke family ke sath sab share kiya to us person ko bhi pata Chal jayega. Jab vo person openly sab ke samne itne easily Abhi par attack kar sakta hain especially when abhi was fully awake and in senses. Ab kya vo Abhi par attack nahin kar sakega? You know by grace of God Abhi is safe today. I mean he jumped from 1st floor and 2 days he was there in which state we don't know. How he is surviving we don't know. I am considering this as miracle ke Abhi safe hain humare sath hain. What if person attacked on Abhi now?
Naira: But kartik we can ask them to hide this. They will understand. I am sure about it.
Kartik: Okay!! Zara kal tak ki apni, meri and vaish ki halat socho then current moment ki socho. Do you think they can really act like everything is still mess or galati se bhi us person tak baat pahuchi to?
Vaish: I guess Kartik is right Naira. Sab ka pain khatam ho jayega in just 2days after Abhi's death. Koi bhi question karega ke 2din hue hain bete ke death ko. 2 din tak sab ki condition itni kharab thi abhi sab sahi hain. I mean itna clear act vo kar sakege?
Naira: Okay got it.
Kartik: Let's wait for sometime. I mean jaise hi abhi ko hosh aayega. We will definitely inform his family. Till the time I need to see who was that person.

Naira nodded.

Vaish: Umm.... Kartik, we can ask Tanmay for help? I mean he was the one who came to call. So he may know who was that person. Not personally but Tanmay ne baat to ki hogi, face to dekha hoga.
Naira: Yaa and hint bhi mili to it will be helpful.

Kartik (nodded): Main baat karta hoon Tanmay se.

Kartik called him. After few minutes. He hang up the call.

Kartik: Kuch pata nahin chala. Tanmay ka kehna hain person told him that he is non-teaching staff. Non-teaching staff ke vajah Tanmay ne kuch pucha nahin.
Naira: Fine but Tanmay pehchan sakega na. So ek kaam karo tum Tammay ko Jaipur leke jao. Tanmay can help you.
Kartik: Not possible. He didn't saw face as person ka face covered tha mask se because of Virtal cold and cough. I already asked him.
Vaish: Voice? Tanmay aawaz to pehchan sakta hain na.
Kartik: Umm... Possible hain.
Naira: Great! Now do one thing Tanmay ko Jaipur leke jao with excuse ke He wants meet Abhi's family. Vaha Abhi ke kingdom ke logo se mila na. Also please take care of Abhi's family.
Kartik: Okay! Tum dono yaha manage kar loge?
Vaish: Hmm.... Don't worry. I will take care of Abhi.
Naira: Haan ye akele hi karegi. Main iski karugi.

Naira giggle. Vaish hit on her arm. Kartik again called Tanmay, asking for help. Tanmay agreed and next morning both left for Jaipur again.
