4/18 Monday After School
(Y/n)'s POV
Skull looks at Mona before he asks him, "So, where do we go?" Skull asks Mona. Mona looks at all of us before he tells us, "Let's head to the safe room we found last time. It's in the first floor of the west building. That's pretty close to our usual entrance. It should be a pretty decent starting point." Mona said to us. Panther was confused at this before she asks us, "Safe room...?" Panther asks us. Skull looks at Panther before he tells her, "It'll make sense when you see it. Welp, let's head out!" Skull says to Panther.
All of us started sneaking back inside of the castle before we were back at the safe room. Panther looks around the room before she asks us, "Hey, what's with this room!?" Panther asks us. Mona looks at Panther before he tells her, "It's a gap in the cognition. A safe room, if you will." Mona said to Panther. Panther still didn't get it, "Yeah, still not getting it." Panther said to Mona. Skull just tells Panther, "Right?" Skull asks Panther. Skull just shakes his head before he tells us, "Uhhh, I'm fuzzy on the details, but I think it's some kinda spot where Shadows can't find us." Skull says to Panther.
Panther just glances at Skull before she tells him, "Huh... I didn't think a place like that existed in here. So, what do we do in this 'safe room'?" Panther asks Skull. Skull looks at Panther before he tells her, "Take a break, duh. Oh, and we talk about stuff too." Skull said to Panther. Panther just hums at this before she tells Skull, "Huh... Those are important. I guess I'll rest for a bit too then. Let me know when we're ready to head out, Joker and Mystery." Panther said to us. Me and Joker nod our heads before we were chilling in the safe room.
We decided to go over a plan, "OK then, let's get a grasp of our current situation." Mona said to us. Joker looks at all of us before he Mona, "How's our progress?" Joker asks Mona. Skull looks at Mona before he asks him, "Hey, you think the Treasure's far?" Skull asks Mona. Mona looks at Skull before he tells him, "Didn't we just get in here? Based on how the castle looks, we still have a long way to go." Mona said to us. I looked at the others before telling them, "He's right though." I said to everyone. Panther was in shock of this, "I still can't believe a phone app took us somewhere like this." Panther said to herself in a shock tone in her voice. Skull looks at Panther before he tells her, "Well, not all of us need that app, y'know... The cat can just come in on his own." Skull says to Panther.
Mona did not like Skull's responds, "I am NOT a cat!" Mona yells out to Skull in a piss off tone in his voice. Panther looks at Mona before she asks him, "So wait, what's the deal with those soldier things that are serving Kamoshida? They transform into weird monsters whenever we fight them..." Panther said to Mona. Mona looks at Panther before he tells her, "Huh? Oh, you must be talking about the Shadows." Mona said to Panther. Panther was still confused of all of this, "What are Shadows...?" Panther asks Mona. Skull looks at Panther before he looks at Mona, "Yeah, I've been wonderin' about those guard dudes too. What's their deal?" Skull asks Mona. Mona looks at all of us before he asks us, "I can explain it... but it'll be complicated. Do you want to hear?" Mona asks us.
Me and Joker look at Mona before Joker tells Mona, "It would be good to know." Joker says to Mona. I looked at Mona before telling him, "Who knows it might be useful for all of us in the future." I said to Mona. Mona looks at all of us before she tells us, "Deep in the innermost depths of every human's heart lies their true personality--their Shadow. So it's not that the guards are transforming into those things... Those are their actual forms. The reason they look like gods and other mythical beings is because they spawn from the human psyche." Mona said to us. Panther looks at Mona with a shock look on her face, "Wh-Whoa... But wait, what are they doing in Kamoshida's castle to begin with?" Panther asks Mona.
