Chapter 22: Operation Maidwatch

5/20 Early Morning Friday

(Y/n)'s POV

Me, Akira, and Morgana were on the subway train to get to school, but as all the time before.  There was a lot of people in the subway train and it was so crowded that me and Akira had to held onto each other really closed, poor Morgana had to be held tight by me and Akira because Morgana was in Akira's school bag.  All of us were listening to people talking about things, but we just blocked it out till the train subway was stop to our stop.

5/20 Lunchtime Friday

Still (Y/n)'s POV

We noticed everyone was crowded around on the board, me and Akira stop walking to look at the board, "Oh, our grades are out." A female girl said to the person next to her.  Me and Akira glance at each other before I realized that our grades are in from all this stuff.  I tried to look for my name, but it was hard to see my name on there, "I can't find my name on there." I said to myself.  Akira keeps looking, but it was too crowded from a bunch of students, so we couldn't see our names on there.  I sigh at this before I pouted a bit, "Aww, I wanted to know how I did on my finals." I pouted to myself.  Akira just pats my head before he mutters out to me, "Maybe next time if there isn't a lot of people here." Akira mutters out to me.  I just looked at Akira before giving him a small smile on my face, "Yeah, you're right." I said to Akira with a small smile on my face.

We start walking away from the crowd before heading back to class.

Time Skip still (Y/n)'s POV

5/20 Afterschool Friday

All of us made it to our hideout with Yusuke there.  Morgana looks at Yusuke before he asks Yusuke, "Yusuke, we still need to explain the basics to you, don't we?" Morgana asks Yusuke.  Ann glances at Morgana before she tells Morgana, "Oh, you mean about the Metaverse and the Nav. Yeah, I guess that stuff is pretty important." Ann says to Morgana.  Yusuke looks at Morgana before he tells him, "Please elaborate." Yusuke said to Morgana.  Morgana looks at all of us before he tells us, "Ok, let's start from the beginning." Morgana said to all of us.  Morgana starts explaining this stuff to all of us, but once that was done.  All of us looked at each other before we have determined faces on before we nod at each other, "Let's go." Akira said to all of us.

Akira got his phone out and we started heading towards the Palace.  Once all of us were in the Palace.  Morgana looks at Yusuke before he tells him, "Oh yeah. We haven't decided on the new recruit's code name yet." Mona said to Yusuke.  Panther looks at Yusuke before she tells him, "It has to be 'Kitsune.' You know, with that kitsune mask and everything." Panther said to Yusuke.  Skull actually agrees with Panther on this one, "Hell yeah. That really leaves an impression." Skull says to Yusuke.  Yusuke turns around to look at Skull before he asks him, "Are you talking about me?" Yusuke asks Skull and Panther.  Panther looks at Yusuke before she asks him, "What do you want your name over here to be?" Panther asks Yusuke.

Yusuke was thinking before he speaks out, "I'd say 'Da Vinci.'" Yusuke said to all of us.  I looked at Yusuke before telling him, "I probably forget on how to say it." I said to Yusuke.  Skull looks at Yusuke before he tells him, "Nope." Skull said to Yusuke.  Skull looks at Yusuke's outfit before he talks to himself, "Well, you've got that mask like Ann said... and there's that weird tail..." Skull said to himself.  Skull finally picks out a code name before he tells Yusuke, "All right, you're 'Abura-age'!" Skull says to Yusuke.  Mona snickers at this, me and Joker just sigh at this before Yusuke breaks the silence, "Very well." Yusuke said to Skull.  All of us were in shock of this, "He's agreed to it!?" Mona asks out loud.
