Chapter 7: Good/Bad Intentions

After that day, everyone went back to their usual life routines, Aliaan and Luz decided to date, while Maanaa hung out with Luz's friends, they grew much and much closer and the two extraterrestrials got well accustomed to life on Earth while Marco checked up on Luz any chance he got.

Don't worry! our story does not end here, in fact, this is just the beginning of many events. 

A month has passed by so quickly, Maanaa, realizes times went faster on Earth, so much so, that she totally forgot they shouldn't stay on Earth for long, she decides to have a talk with Aliaan.

Maanaa spreads her wing to send a sound wave to Aliaan to indicate she wants to talk to him. A few minutes later, Aliaan comes back home with Luz.

Aliaan: " Did something happen? what did you want?"

Maanaa: " We need to talk!"

Aliaan * while holding Luz's hand*: " Go ahead and talk then!"

Maanaa feels some tension from her friend, she knows damn well that he knows what she wants but she decides to stay calm and say it anyways.

Maanaa: " I want to talk to you in private as it pertains to Aaraa and our situation, Luz, I hope you understand"

Luz * pouts*: " I'm curious but I'll wait"

Luz smirks as if she knows Aliaan would tell her everything after they're done talking.

Aliaan: " Fine! Let's go outside."

The two leave the apartment to a nearby empty park, they sit on a bench under a tree and shield themselves with their wings, so no one would be able to see or hear them.

Maanaa: " We've been here for a whole earthen month, time sure passes here in the flap of a wing, we must head back soon"

Aliaan: " I don't plan on going back anytime soon, I just found a girlfriend and started a fulfilling relationship, everything here is new and interesting"

Maanaa: " You can come back later, don't be so stubborn!"

Aliaan: " I plan to stay here forever, the gold and diamonds we brought will suffice, I'll have a luxurious life here and will leave wealth for my children!"

Maanaa: " You know you can't stay in this dry place, you'll grow old and wrinkly and get illnesses like them!"

Aliaan: " I don't care this place is better than that boring place"

Maanaa: " You think she will like you when you suddenly start looking like an earthen 45-year-old?'

Aliaan: " I didn't come here empty-handed, I can sustain these looks for years to come!"

Maanaa: " You planned this all along? Wow, you're acting like them already! I agreed to come with you but not to stay long, we have our own lives back home and I can't go back by myself!"

Aliaan:" I want to be loved, I want to be someone irreplaceable, I want to love!"

Maanaa; " And you can do that on Aaraa too! and have a child since you want one so much!"

Aliaan * sarcastically*: "  Have another perfectly boring Aaraan! so tempting!"

Maanaa: " So you want an experiment? Do you want to mutate and possibly degrade your genes? What makes you think your offspring or Luz will be fine? We have far evolved !"

Aliaan: "  You don't know that, no one has done this before as far as we know, they could be a new breed with the best qualities of both!"

Maanaa: " You're selfish like many here, you want fun and novelty at the expense of others, I hope that Luz ,for her own sake, won't be stupid enough to fall for you!"

Aliaan: " You're just jealous because I love her and not you. I won't give up and I don't need your unsolicited advice, so leave me alone...Oh, I know you think you're better than me and you're just being arrogant because you had past lives here!"

Maanaa:" You went too far, I thought you and I were truly friends despite our differences. too bad I can't go back by myself. Fine! but while I find a way to contact Xeelai, I'll just enjoy the shitshow you're creating!"

Aliaan: " Seriously? Xeelai? what makes you think someone so stuck up, so popular, so proud will come here to get you?"

Maanaa: " That mentality of yours is so earthen it hurts, do you feel inferior to him? Do you want to be like him? Is that what it is? He is my friend and I hope he's nothing like you and won't crack my wings as you did! I am done."

Maanaa stands up, wraps her wings around herself in the form of a rocket, and soars like a bullet in fast rotations back to the apartment. She enters her room without uttering a single word.

Aliaan, on the other hand, unveils himself and stays on the bench in the park in regret, he knows he's lost a dear friend, Maanaa supported him when no one else did, she's been his friend forever and he couldn't have come to Earth without her.

But is there a chance that the two friends will reconcile before  Maanaa contacts this mysterious but intriguing Aaraan? Will Xeelai agree to come to Earth to take Maanaa back? Only time will tell.

Luz sat confused for a while, her brain started making up scenarios about how something could be going on between the two, in her mind, the two realized they have feelings for each other and decided to leave.

Luz becomes irrationally angry at them, she hears the door opening, she runs fast and sees Aliaan walking in, she pouts and sulks, and hurriedly goes towards the sofa and drops her weight on it, crosses her arms and puts one leg over the other.

Aliaan notices and gets confused over why she would act that way, he knows Maanaa isn't the type to tell on anyone but he can't help but think she got angry at him and told Luz everything.

Aliaan changes his body language, he assumes a sad and conflicted outer appearance, he goes toward Luz without uttering a single word, lays down on the sofa facing the ceiling, and puts his head on Luz's lap.

Luz's heart rate increases she looks down at his doe eyes looking at her, sparkling with sadness. Luz's heart tightens her eyes begin tearing.

Luz:" Is something wrong? Are you ok?"

Aliaan * in a low sad voice*: " I'm sorry you had to see me like this, I feel terrible but I need you"

Luz: " No! I'm here you can tell me everything!"

Aliaan: " I-- I don't want to leave you, but Maanaa sh-she she wants to go back to our planet"

Luz" Then don't! she can go back herself, why is she trying to control you?"

Aliaan: " It's not like that, she can't go by herself, so now she needs to contact someone from Aaraa to come to get her, I feel like I failed her as a friend."

Luz: " No way! You're just too nice and caring, you said someone could come to get her, then let them come, you don't need to concern yourself with this, you can stay here i-i-if you want to!"

Aliaan: " Luz, I think I'm in love with you" *starts tearing up* " I don't want to leave you, I want to stay here with you for the rest of our lives"

Luz blushes, and her heart rate gets even faster, she looks down at her boyfriend, he looks even hotter, her eyes migrate down at his plump lips, she gets an uncontrollable desire, she leans down and closes her eyes, sticks out her lips, going for a kiss...
