"y/n.. wake up" i heard Jamie whisper in my ear as he gently tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear
"huh?. oh, good morning. what time is it?" i said groggily as i turned to him, squinting my eyes at the brightness from the window

"morning but its 6:18" he said as he got up
"mm, what time is the flight again?" i asked
"uh, 8? i think" he said as he unzipped and pulled open his suitcase, starting to fold and pile more clothes in

i rolled over to face the wall and closed my eyes, i didn't want to fall asleep, just close my eyes for a minute
"y/nnn get upp" i heard Jamie said
"ughhh okay" i said rolling over to admire him

he looked up and noticed me smiling at him, he smiled back and started to speak
"you gonna get up?" he asked
"mmm can i just lay here looking at u" i asked
"mhmm, yeah you wish. we have to get packed" he said
"mhmm" i said as i sat up and started to help get packed

*TIME SKIP*

"alright were here" Jamie said as we pulled into the airport
"i guess we are" i said as i opened the door and went to the trunk
Jamie got out as well. he grabbed our stuff and we headed into the airport.

the time went by pretty quick as we waited. fans came up to us and asked for pictures and stuff.

"hey im going to head to the bathroom before we have to board the flight, okay?" i said as i got up
"okay yeah, i think its straight ahead and take a left, im pretty sure theres a sign that says 'restrooms'" he said politely
"alright thanks" i said and i gave him a quick peck on the cheek and headed into the direction he told me to.

i walked into the door that read:
"Womens"
there was a couple of other people in there, fixing makeup, trying to calm a screaming child, others giving dirty looks, and some stalls occupied.

i stood awkwardly amongst the 'controlled chaos' as sheila and i called it. recalling back to me and sheila, it made me laugh a bit. she always knew how to cheer someone up. it was my favorite thing about her

a stall finally opened up and i walked in, i did my business and walked out. i washed my hands thoroughly.
"who knows how dirty these bathrooms are"
i thought to myself as i finished washing my hands.

i zipped open my small makeup bag and started to just touch up my blush and mascara, i didn't wear anything extravagant, just sweatpants, a t-shirt, blush, and mascara

i was done so i stepped out of the bathrooms, it was still pretty loud, the room filled with chatter from people. i started to round the corner to where Jamie and I were sitting earlier.

i round the corner to see Jamie and Ruby... kissing

i felt my heart sink. it was like nothing i had ever felt. it was dread, anger, sadness, rage.
all your possible emotions mixed into one. i tried to blink away the tears that threatened to fall while trying to push down the lump in my throat that wanted to explode
i wanted to run.
i wanted to wipe my eyes.
i wanted to cry
i wanted to slap both of them.

also sorry for my inconsistency of updating, school is in a week and i've been preparing myself

also hope the airport was accurate, i've never been to one lmaoo
