"y/n, with the permission of your father and mother, will you make me, the happiest man on earth? and do me the honor, of marrying me?"

my knees felt week and my hand flew to my mouth faster than i could comprehend. it felt like the world stopping movie. everything stopped ans then started moving to fast. i became a little light headed

"y/n?" his voice asked, snapping my mind back into focus and making the world stop spinning
i looked back at him and he was off his knee, standing a bit awkward

i ran up to him and he caught me in his arms, my legs automatically wrapped around his waist and locked, afraid to let go
"oh jamie, yes of course!" i smiled brightly as he engulfed me in his arms
i leaned my head into the crook of his neck as i felt his smile against my cheek, making me smile even more, which i didn't think was possible

he set me down and i stared up at him, his arms still hooked around my waist
i smiled again, locking my lips with his. that hole in my chest now almost healed.

i felt whole again.
