3rd Person POV:
Jisung woke up first—or so he thought. The faint morning light seeped through the guest room curtains as he groggily sat up and rubbed his eyes. Stretching lazily, he glanced at the lump of blankets on the bed where Minho was still fast asleep, his soft snores barely audible. Jisung chuckled softly to himself before heading to the adjoining bathroom to freshen up.
Felix’s house wasn’t new to him. He had stayed over countless times before, so much so that he had a spare toothbrush permanently stashed in their guest room. After brushing his teeth and washing up, he changed into some of Changbin’s clothes lent to him the previous night. The oversized hoodie and sweatpants fit him well enough, though the hoodie smelled faintly of Changbin’s cologne.
As he headed downstairs, he found Felix already awake, perched on a barstool in the kitchen, eating a bowl of oatmeal while scrolling through his phone.
“Morning,” Felix greeted without looking up, his voice still thick with sleep.
“Morning,” Jisung replied, rummaging through the fridge for some eggs.
He decided to fry himself some eggs for breakfast. Felix didn’t bat an eye—they were used to each other’s casual presence by now. Once Jisung was done eating, Changbin appeared next, hair disheveled as he sleepily poured himself a bowl of cereal. Minho trailed in not long after, yawning but not hungry.
With all four of them now awake and fed, they sat around, trying to figure out what to do with their day. It wasn’t long before Felix brightened up with an idea.
“Let’s go to the park a few blocks away!” he suggested, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
The others agreed, deciding it was better than sitting around the house bored. Felix and Changbin disappeared upstairs to change, and Felix returned with some simple clothes for Minho as well.
“You can wear this—it’s mine,” Felix said, handing Minho a sweatshirt and joggers.
“Thanks,” Minho replied with a small smile as he accepted them.
Once everyone was ready, they grabbed their coats and stepped outside. The crisp air hit their faces, making them shiver slightly. It wasn’t snowy or rainy, just the kind of chilly weather that made their breath visible in puffs. It was refreshing, and the group began walking down the street, chatting about random things as they headed toward the park.
Halfway there, Minho’s stomach growled loudly, breaking the conversation and earning a round of amused looks.
“Someone’s hungry,” Jisung teased with a smirk.
“Shut up,” Minho muttered, staring at the ground in embarrassment. “I’m sorry…”
“It’s fine,” Felix said with a reassuring smile.
Changbin suggested stopping by a café along the way, which everyone agreed to.
By the time they left the café, everyone was satisfied. Jisung had gotten himself a slice of his all-time favorite cheesecake, while Minho had bagels and an espresso. Felix and Changbin opted for donuts and iced coffee.
“It’s almost three,” Felix said, checking the time on his phone. “The park should be just around the corner now.”
As they turned the corner, the park’s entrance came into view. Felix couldn’t contain his excitement and grabbed both Changbin and Minho by the hand, pulling them toward the gate.
