"Why did coach summon the whole Scald house?" A girl asked.

I shrugged. "Dunno. But I feel like we're gonna make this place go on fire," I said.

"Agreed!" I boy said. "We don't have our wands, so that means we're probably gonna use our powers,"

I crossed my arms. The temperature is at least 40 degrees, but all of us don't feel cold. Fire runs through our veins. "Students!" coach boomed. "May I please have your attention?"

All of us turned to him. "I have summoned the Scald students today because you need to learn how to use your powers, not just your wand,"

"But we'll turn this place to ash," a red-head girl said.

"I'm doing this to all of the houses!" coach said. He points to the room next door. A glass wall separates them from us. A heard whines of animals. It was Nexus students. Death mages. They can kill you with a snap of their finger. I saw Sapphire beheading a horse. She then saw me and waved.

Coach pointed to the other side. Air is blown everywhere in the room. It's the Mistral house. Air mages.

I'm pausing here to tell you all of the houses.

Nexus - Death Mages

Mistral - Air Mages

Scald - Fire Mages

Flurris - Water Mages

Granit - Earth Mages

Tempos - Music Mages

Glava - Weather Mages

Glamos - Magic Mages

Epos - Time Mages

Lumina - Light Mages

I have no clue what the difference is between Tempos and Glamos, so yeah.

Rocks came down hard across our room. The Granit house is pretty strong.

Coach cleared his throat. "Okay, now. BEGIN!"

I held up my hand. Something very hot burned across my skin. I realized that fire was on my hand. I then made a fireball and threw it across the room. The glass wall doesn't melt. "It's fireproof, Miss Abbott," coach said.

"Oh," I said. I didn't know.

I glanced at the other students. They were only able to make a few flames.

I made a fire horse. It was tiny, but I made something. "Whoa, Ruby," A girl said. "How are you so good at doing this?"

I shrugged. "Dunno. But it's fun,"

Oh no. Jade is banging on my door. BRB!
