Annoying Client

Kara perspective: 

I was stuck in the office with Mike my ex that makes me want to kill myself  but as much as i do i couldn't help but have that heartbeat around him god kara don't forget what had happened between you two.. 

"Ms Danvers if you are done day dreaming i need help"- Mike says pulling me back from reality i sighed and got up from seat and walked out of my office and walked into the meeting room where we had ideas everywhere  for their new gala apparently

"Mike for the last time we are just here to help cover your event so god please pic an idea "- I say rubbing my temples 

"Give her a break will you "- I hear a familiar voice in the back i turn around and see Barry with he's goofy smile he walked up to me and wrapped hes arms around my waist and kissed my temple 

"Hey you"- i say smiling 

"Hey beautiful"- Barry says 

"We are kind of busy here Allen"- Mike says in a monotone crossing he's arms

"Yeah busy blowing my girl's brain off i see...how about a coffee break love?"- Barry asks me 

"Take me away prince charming"- I say smiling at barry 

"As you wish my princess"- barry says interlocking our hands together and placing a kiss on my knuckles 

"Felicity why not you join us?"- I offer and saw her face lit up knowing damn well she wanted to get out of the meeting room as much as i do we just waved goodbye to Mike and said we would be back in an hour or so Barry and I walked hand in hand with Felicity to the elevator and headed to the nearby cafe for some coffee lucky for us not many people were there and managed to grab a seat he placed a kiss on my cheek before going off to order coffee and some pastries. Couple of minutes later he returned with 3 cups of coffee and my favourite doughnuts he sat beside me and we began mingling 

"You know for a fake couple you two certainly seem like the real deal"- Felicity 

"well we need to be real to be fake so what's up with that Mike dude and got you ladies all stressed with worry lines  "- Barry 

"He's family wants us to cover some gala and Mike being mike does not make my life easy "- I say 

"Well whatever it is i know you both can do it"- Barry says giving my hand a tight squeeze and i smiled placing my head on he's shoulder as our hands remained interlocked as i listen to Barry and Felicity talk about some sciencey  thing we spent a good hour at the cafe before retuning back to the office greeted by an annoyed Mike 

"Happy for you two to be back can we finish this now?"- Mike 

"I better get going then babe i'll pick you up later?"- Barry offered, i nodded and he gave me a peck on the cheek before disappearing off to the elevators. I plopped back down to my seat and let my mind wonder elsewhere the next few days were certainly gonna be rough..

Few days later...

Barry pov:

i am getting settled in to my new apartment and i was planning to bring kara out for dinner to tell her all about my plans and actually after so long ask her if we can turn whatever we were to something real..is a leap of faith but i am willing to do so for her.. I got ready and tried my best to look as well you know her standard in men. After tidying myself up some more making sure no hair was out of place no crinkle in my clothing i got in my car and drove to catco of course picking up some beautiful white roses for her  which i am hoping that she will love. After a much quicker drive than usual since now i'm leaving in the city. Once i got there i carried the roses up with me and when i walked out of the lift i see Felicity scrambling through a bunch of papers and the whole office seemed to be running all over the place which only meant Mike was here and probably spread the annoying client virus to the rest of the office. After dodging the employees that were running around the place i finally made it to Fel's desk

"Is there some big invasion? why does the place seem so you know"- Barry 

"More like them scrambling to get everything ready for the event they pushed it to 2 days from now "- Felicity 

"where's Kara?"- I ask 

"Oh Barry she is off somewhere with Mike looking at different locations for their family event i have no idea when she will be back i can pass a message along "- Felicity 

"Uh is alright can i go in her office to drop these off?"- I say showing the roses to her, she nodded and gave me a smile. I went into Kara's office and left the roses on her desk well finding a vase to put them in and then leaving a note for her to meet me at the restaurant at 7pm hopping she will be able to turn up...
