RANT!

So I know MANY are disappointed that this isn't an update... oh no... it's a minor rant. Small. I'm no Diva.

okay... so... How many of you that read on here actually are writing your own stories? I know a few are for example 'Rebel' by booknerd, I know she reads and updates a story as well. (go check it out.)

So chances are... I won't get a private message from this reader telling me:

- That I'm not updating fast enough...

- That I used to be better at updating...

- That I'm really pissing you off because I'm not updating first thing in the morning...

- That I updated another story but it's not the one you like so why did I update that one and not my others...

BUT HERE'S THE THING, I SHOULDN'T BE GETTING IT FROM ANYONE, MUCHLESS LIKE TWENTY PEOPLE LOL! Really!

Oh did I make you wait a day? or two? FOUR at the most? While you're waiting MONTHS for other stories to update... really?

*sigh...*

I have a life outside of wattpad... I have parents, siblings, friends... school... work... like my readers. I get it... you want me to update and because I hate reading stories where I have to wait even two weeks to read a three page update, I try my best to do it more often.

So I posted a new story and instantly I got ten messages on top of those other twenty... asking when I'm going to update Unbroken/Scratch, because I updated this new story but you're interested in Unbroken/Scratch... lets go back to my first question to you readers.

Are you a reader AND an updater? Even if you're not... I'd think that you'd realize that If I just posted four new chapters, to a new story, and not to the other stories, that it may be like a day or two before I POST for the stories YOU like. I mean when did I find time to write those new chapters.... in my already busy schedule... I mean obviously some people think I don't sleep or even do anything but sit and push out chapters.

LOL.

Oddly... I wouldn't mind doing that if it was some sort of job, but for free... I can't ignore my real life that much. I mean I use an hour everyday... which doesn't seem like a lot, but it adds up.

So while I understand that you want updates faster... maybe keep those really rude mean comments (like the ones I noted up there) to yourself...

here are your options:

1. Keep it polite...

2. Don't rush me because you want to read something good, not something I just put together to please you... it won't be that good.

3. GO REREAD FROM THE BEGINNING, you may find something you missed because in the mean time, while you're rereading I'll be typing, and then you're gonna forget that I made you wait four LONG HORRIBLE DAYS... (sarcasm.)

3. Check out other stories... (just recommended one above, go read it... it's good.) You don't have to check out my stories... but again if you're JONESING for something I wrote specifically, check out what I've written if you haven't already.

4. Or maybe sit-down and try to write just ONE CHAPTER of a story... 3,000+ words... see how it feels because that's what I do... for all of you guys and myself because I love writing...

5. hm... listen to music? watch movies? go outside? Idk, anything else but tell me that I'm taking too long lol

6. I'd tell you to go read the story I just posted 'Loving Ashlynn' that made you send me the messages that you'd rather I update Unbroken/Scratch before posting that... but I'm not sure I'd like the comments you'd give me over there because of your hatred for the new story that you haven't read, but are disappointed that I updated before the ones you love.

LOL.

so hhmmm yeah, right now... I have a party 2g2 ... and while oddly this is one I would've preferred missing to write (no joke...) I said I'd go so... I'm out.

roxann.

P.S. to those that are wondering or questioning which book I'm speaking of the cover is add and it's on my page... just go to my stories :)
