Making a way for our own path
Building us up for success
We need you
And we appreciate you
The work you do
Is unexplainable but I'm going to try
You make me better
In a sense, that you made me
Recognize what I can do
And teaching that no is always an answer
To push myself beyond the everyday routine
And to be proud of the everlasting outcome
You make school not that bad
And worth coming to everyday
Thank you for just not standing up
In front of the class and speaking at us
But actually seeing us and what we can do
And inspiring us to be our better selves

Thank you for not just being my teacher
But a mentor and friend as well
*I was blessed to have good, inspiring teachers my whole 4 years of high school. Teachers can be one of the worst parts about school and I get it. But just one good experience, can change every bad experience you've had. To the kids still in school looking for a piece of inspiration to keep them going, I am here to tell you that good teachers do exist. And they are closer than you think. 😉❤️
