We pulled into the parking lot of the Honk n' Holler. Trucks were lined up wall to wall. I search the lot for Luke's truck but I didn't see it. I twisted my hands together in my lap, wondering if he would even show up tonight. I took a deep breath to steady myself before we got out of the truck. I wasn't really sure I could face everyone, I knew everyone knew what happened. I was happy when I felt Jess put her arm through mine as we entered the doors to the dance together it made me feel stronger. I scanned the room again looking for Luke. I know Jess could feel my disappointment. She squeezed my arm tighter and pulled me to the bartender.
"Delila, oh man am I glad to see you!" Nate said as he came around from behind the bar and gave me a big hug.
I hugged him back thankful for the warm reception," Thank you, Nate, I'm sor.. he cut me off before I could finish. "No, everyone knows how horrible Margo and Trip are you couldn't have known being away for so long. He smiled at me. "now what will you have to drink?" he asked walking back around the bar. Jess spoke before me, " two jack and cokes!"
"No, I just want water please." I looked at Jess shaking my head she gave me a pouty face.
"Jess, I need to stay level-headed this evening."
"Yea, you're probably right. I'll still have two jack and cokes Nate!" We both laughed at her shaking our heads. Nate, Jess, and I talked for a bit while Jess drank one of her drinks then her favorite line dancing song came on and she left me alone at the bar with Nate. I watched her run out to the floor giggling all the way.
"So, you and Luke again huh?" Nate said leaning over the bar.
I turned back to him, " I hope so. I may have ruined everything the other night."
"Delila, I don't know if you know this or not but the reason Trip and Luke were arguing that night was because Trip and Margo owe money on the flower shop to Luke. Luke gave the shop to his brother for Margo to run but on the agreement, they would pay him back. They have never paid him. Margo and Trip use everyone. I think Margo was worried that with you here she wouldn't be able to get a free ride anymore or worse she wouldn't be able to keep the flower shop."
"Thank you, Nate, I never knew any of this."
"Keep your head up, we love you, Delila." He gave me a little pinch on the chin and off he went.
The heat was getting to me, so I went to the back door that was open and took my jacket off to let the cool breeze run through me. The smell of the Montana sky with the music in the background made me smile. I closed my eyes putting my ice water to my neck. It was then I smelled his cologne. His hand moved my hair away from my neck. I felt his lips next to my ear breathing me in while his fingers danced down my arm.
"What are you doing out here Dela Blue?"
His slow breath in my ear gave me chills. His fingers danced their way to my collarbone while his lips kissed my neck.
"Do you have any idea how beautiful you are?"
His left hand was still on my collarbone as his right hand made its way down my thigh to my stomach grazing the top of my pubic bone. I let out a small moan as he pressed himself into the back of me my hand slid behind me finding his cock. I needed him now. Grabbing his hand, I never turned around, I leaned back into him, "Where is your truck?"
He took my hand walking me away from the dance hall never turning around to look at me. Once we found his truck, he quickly grabbed me holding me against the cold truck pulled my dress up, and slipped his fingers into me. I moaned into his chest as his other hand pulled the top of my dress down, he pulled my breast into his mouth sucking aggressively on my nipple moaning, and pulling me harder to him.
