"Thank you I'll think about it" I said looking down "great give us a call" they said as they handed me their card which I took just then I see a unknown red car pull up but I didn't pay much attention to it I was still try to process why this happened
"We're going to need you to come to the station to answer a few questions" y/n" said the police officer "oh shit!
Y/n!" Yelled Tatum running towards me "oh god I'm so sorry I was late are you alright?" Said Tatum
"Tatum you can't be here it's an official crime scene" said the police officer dragging Tatum away "it's okay" I said "her dad is out of town alright? She's staying with us tonight" said Tatum "does mom know?" He asked "Yes doofus" said Tatum
"You know if you guys become police officers you guys can come partners" said the police officer "let's get you out of here" they said as they helped me up Tatum was hugging me tightly making sure I won't fall over or something they put me in cop car driving me to the police station
"Y/n is that you in there?" Said the news lady but I didn't paid attention to her since the car was driving just then the news lady walks over to Tatum "excuse me was that y/n Prescott they took away?" She said
"I'm not talking to you" said Tatum walking towards her car "what happened to her?" Said the news lady "none of your damn business" said Tatum "I heard something about a costume was that true?" Said the news lady but Tatum did answer as she just got inside her car
"Can you tell me anything?" Said the news lady knock on Tatum's window "yeah you are a real pain in the ass" said Tatum driving away but not before saying "leave y/n alone" as she continues to drive off
Once I was in the police station a police officer starts to ask me questions "did you find him?" I asked "you sure it was the Hilton?" He asked "at the airport" I said "he's not registered there could he have stayed somewhere else?" he said
"I don't know I guess" I said they were trying to contact my father but nothing worked "don't worry y/n we will find him" he said as I nodded "I'll be right back" he said as he walked away I start look around as I see billy looking at me but I looked away
I honestly thought we were friends but if he's the reason my sister is dead I want nothing to do with him at all I look down and look towards billy once more only to see he was still looking at me I avoided eye contact by looking around again
They then started to drag billy away somewhere "y/n...y/n come on it wasn't me you have to believe me I wouldn't kill your sister or hurt you in any way y/n come on look at me" said billy but I didn't listen to him I'm still trying to figure out why he did it
"Y/n we are going to get you out of here okay?" Said Tatum hugging me as I cry once more "hey Dewey can we go now?" Said Tatum "hold on a second" said Dewey "god damn it Dewey!" Said Tatum
"when I'm with Mom you can tell me whatever you want but when I'm wearing this badge you treat me like a man of the law" said Dewey "I'm sorry deputy Dewey but we're ready to go now okay?" Said Tatum as Tatum starts to dragging me towards the exit with Dewey following behind
"Okay now you two stay here I'll go get the car" said Dewey walking away leaving Tatum and me alone just then the news lady walks towards us as Tatum rolls her eyes in annoyance "there she is! Y/n! Hi some night what happened are you alright?" Said the news lady putting the microphone in my face
Tatum then pushes her hand away "she's not answering any questions alright? Just leave us alone" said Tatum "no it's alright Tatum she's just doing her job right?" I said "yes that's right" she said "so how's the book?" I said "well it will be out later this year" she said "oh okay I'll look for it" I said
"I'll send you a copy" she said as soon as she said that I punched her right in the face making her fall down just then Dewey start to drag me away as well we Tatum we get inside the car and drive off
Once we were at Tatum's place we get out of the car as Tatum drags me to her bedroom she had two beds and her room as actually really nice we got into bed as Tatum starts to talk about what happened
"God I loved it I'll send you a copy bam bitch went down" said Tatum as she looks at me while sitting down "I'll send you a copy bam y/n super bitch you are so cool see I told you we will get along well" said Tatum as Dewey walks in holding a ice pack
"I thought you might want some ice for your hand" said Dewey throwing me the ice pack as I catch it "thanks" I said "I'll be right next door try to get some sleep" said Dewey "yeah yeah" said Tatum as Dewey closes the door
"Do you really think Billy did it?" Said Tatum "I mean I'm not sure I don't know him all that well" I said "well he was destined to have a flaw I knew he was too perfect" said Tatum as someone knocks on the door
It was Tatum's mom "cell phone hunny" she said "who is it?" Said Tatum "it's for y/n" she said "my dad?" I said "I don't think so" she said "take a message" said Tatum "no it's fine I'll get it" I said walking out the room
I then walk over to the phone "hello?" I said "𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤 𝙮/𝙣" they said as I felt my heart drop "no!" I yelled crying again "𝙥𝙤𝙤𝙧 𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙚" they said
I felt Tatum and her mom stand behind me "leave me alone!" I said "𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙜𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣" they said "hang up y/n" whispered Tatum "who are you?" I said "𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙤𝙣 𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙄 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙚" they said as they hanged up
"What?" Yelled Dewey holding his gun but I just put the phone down as Tatum and I go back to her room while Tatum's mom goes back to her business leaving Dewey alone
We all fell asleep but soon wake up when we heard the alarm go off as Tatum and I got ready for school it was really nice of Tatum to let me stay the night at her place after what happened once we were done getting ready we want to eat some breakfast
As we were getting breakfast we were watching the news seeing what was happening making me signed since they were talking about last night and my dead sister I look down at my plate as Tatum was patting my back
