"it's never going to stop is it?" I said looking down at my food as Dewey sits down next to me with a plate in his hands "billy was released his bill was cleaning he didn't make those calls but we're trying to figure out what to do next it will really help if you guys would join us as well" said Dewey
"You mean to become a police officer?" I said "well yes you want this to stop don't you?" Said Dewey "she doesn't have to become one if she doesn't want to you doofus leave us alone" said Tatum in her annoyed voice while looking at her food
"It's fine Tatum and yeah you're right I should probably get a job as a police officer to help you guys investigate" I said "well if you're going to become a police officer I'm not going to leave you alone that's for sure" said Tatum as i give her a small "thanks" I said
"Are you okay with going to school today?" Said Tatum's mom "yeah I'm sure" I said smiling "well if that's the case take us to school before we're late" said Tatum as she grabs her things and I do the same "okay" said Dewey as well walk out the door
The three of us get inside Dewey's cop car as he drives us to school once we were there Dewey gets out for I could get out "don't worry y/n it's school you will be safe here if you want you and Tatum can become police officers when school gets out okay?" Said Dewey
"Okay thank you" I said getting out of the car just then the news lady comes running at me with a microphone in her hand "how does it feel to be almost murdered "hey hey! Leave her alone" said Dewey as he pushes the lady away from me I walk away from them with Tatum following behind me
But as I was walking I notice the lady I punched yesterday making me sighed "I'll be right back" I said as I walk towards her "stop right there" she said "I'm not here to fight I'm just here to talk" I said "really? Okay get the cameras ready" said the lady
"But no cameras" I said "but..." She said "please? You owe me" I said "I don't owe you shit" she said "you owe my mother and my sister" I said "your mother's murder was last year hottest court case and your sister was just a few days ago somebody had to write a book about it" she said
"Right and it had to be you with all your lies and bullshit theories" I said "what is your problem? You got what you wanted they're in jail now a book isn't going to change that" she said "do you still think he's innocent?" I said
"Your testimony put him away it doesn't matter what I think" she said "during the trial you did all those stories about me and called me a liar" I said "I think you falsely accused him yes" she said "have you talked to him?" I said "many times" she said
"And has his story changed?" I said "not one word he admits having sex with your mother but that's all" she said "he's lying she never would have touched him he rape her then he killed her, her blood was all over his coat" I said
"He was drunk that night he left his coat at your house after your mother seduced him" she said "I saw him leave wearing it" I said as I hear the bill ring "no you saw someone leave wearing that coat the same someone who left it in his car framing him"she said
"No I know he murdered my mother and he probably hired someone to murder my sister as well" I said truth is I really don't know who killed Sidney I don't know if it was billy or if it was the same person who killed my mother or he probably send someone to do it the whole thing is complicated
"You're not so sure anymore are you?" She said "nice welts sweetie" said Tatum as she stands right next to me while looking at the news lady in front of us up and down with a disgust face while chewing gum "let's go y/n" said Tatum
"The killer is still on the loose isn't he?" Said the news lady "come on y/n" said Tatum "those murders are related" she said "I'm sorry I punched you in the face" I said as Tatum drags me away from her "y/n don't go" said the news lady as she tries to catch up
"Just stop" said Tatum as we walk away from her the two of us go inside the school and make our way towards the lockers as we see Stu waiting for us as he gives Tatum a lollipop "do you also want one y/n?" Said Stu
"I'm good thanks but I can help to think that this is a mistake and I shouldn't be here" I said digging through my locker "I want you to meet me here after school okay y/n" Said Tatum "okay hey um..." I said as I saw Stu checking himself out in a mirror
"I haven't seen Billy is he okay? Or is he pissed?" I said as Stu looks at me with a small smirk "what after you rated him out to the police? No he..." Stu was about to continue but Tatum stops him by hitting him "ow" said Stu looking at Tatum we then hear someone yelling
We all turned around and saw a student with the same costume that attacked me a few days ago running around yelling making me gasp and jump a little "why are they doing this?" I said looking at Tatum and Stu "are you kidding me? Look at this place it's like Christmas" said Stu
I sighed as I started to walk away from them "y/n!" I heard Tatum calling out for me but I kept walking that was until I bumped into someone making me jump as I look up and saw billy in front of me "well shit" I thought to myself
"Jesus shit" I said "woah woah it's just me" said billy still holding onto me but I push him away "wait you still think it's me?" She billy "no...no...I...I don't it's just somebody was there billy someone... someone tried to kill me" I said
"I know...I know the cops I scared them away that wasn't me y/n" said billy I wanted to believe him I really did but something just felt off at the moment but then again it couldn't be Billy because when billy was arrested they called me again this is so confusing I want it all to just stop
"Yeah I mean I guess you're right since they called me last night at Tatum's house" I said "you see it couldn't be me I was in jail remember" said billy "I'm sorry but please understand" I said I just needed time to understand all of this and space as well it was all too much for me
"understand what? That I have a friend who accused me of being a psychopath killer" said billy getting closer to me in fact we were really close to each other "you know that's not true" I said "then what is it?" Said Billy "what is it? Billy I was attacked last night" I said
"Well I mean you haven't been acting alright since your sister died" said billy "are you serious right now? My sister was killed I can't believe you're bringing this up" I said "it's been a week" said billy "tomorrow one week tomorrow" I said "I just think it's time you got over that" said billy
"Is he actually serious right now?" I thought to myself as I felt angry "I mean when my mom left my dad I accepted it it's the way it is she's not coming back" said billy "I'm sorry that your mom left but my mother and my sister both died" I said tearing up
I really hated crying in front of people but billy doesn't seem to get it he expects me to get over their death so fast like it meant nothing to me at all he clearly doesn't love his mother enough if you ask me
"Okay okay okay I'm sorry it's just I want my friend back you know it's not the same if you're not around" said billy he sure didn't sound sorry he sounded like he wanted us to stop talking about it "go fuck yourself" I was walking away from him
"Y/n" said billy "I'm sorry if my traumatized life is very boring to you or that you don't care with your perfect existence" I said walking away from him once more "perfect? What? What are you... Nobody said that Y/n!" I heard billy say
