When the world was turned upside down by the outbreak, it became a world that people like the Dixons were built for. A world where people made their own rules if they were lucky enough to survive when the world belonged to the dead.

Travis Dixon didn't hesitate to stay with his cousins, Merle and Daryl Dixon when the outbreak began. At first their mission was to make it to the refugee center in Atlanta, Georgia. But when the center was overrun and the city was bombed in a feeble attempt to control the outbreak that had already caused the world to crumble, their plans changed. It became the three of them against everyone else. Their strategy was simple, find or take whatever they could, whenever they could. At least until they found a group just outside of Atlanta that was far to big for the three of them to take on.

The people they find in the group are the last people they want to be with as the world ends. But the three of them are the people that they all need.

Even if they don't know it yet.
