Tragic times begin
Then the maple leaves turn red
When will you be mine?

"Kazuha, is it just me or is that group of people staring at us?" Y/n whispered.
"I have noticed that as well."
The two continued their walk through the city, trying to ignore the gaze of the few people at the side. Every minute that passed, Y/n became more and more annoyed and was tempted to turn around and demand an explanation until Kazuha grabbed her hand and rushed up a bunch of stairs. There were a lot of people walking about and Kazuha explained it would be better to blend into the crowd to find out why the people were following us.
"Yujing Terrace is always a popular place with travelers. There is also a good view of the harbor from here. We could go and see while we wait."
"You know I wouldn't pass up an offer from you, Kazuha." Y/n laughed and allowed Kazuha to lead the way, still holding hands.
Upon reaching their destination, Y/n admired the view and Kazuha helped point out certain details she asked about. Nearby, the two could hear a quiet conversation and lowered their voices just a little to hear.
"Seeing her up close, I can definitely see the resemblance now."
"Yeah, that must be Kai's sister. No doubt about it."
"Geh!" Y/n groaned.
Kazuha subtly glanced back at the two people and looked back at Y/n. She had an annoyed expression on her face. He held her hand tighter and turned to leave, dragging Y/n along again.
Y/n seemed to be in deep thought as the two made their way down to the harbor, but snapped out of it when a girl popped out of nowhere and shouted, "BOO!"
The girl had long brown hair tied up into pigtails and was dressed in black. Behind her was a small ghost.
The stranger laughed at the shocked faces from Kazuha and Y/n. "What a wonderful couple! Would you like a discount on one of our special caskets from the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor?"
"I'm afraid you're a few weeks late in offering a casket, uh..." Y/n began.
"Oh! I almost forgot! I'm Hu Tao, the director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. A pleasure to meet you!"
Y/n and Kazuha also introduced themselves, but it seemed the idea of them being a couple had gone through one ear and out the other. Hu Tao was amused and decided to tease them a little further, asking when the two got together. This question made the two flustered and both tried to deny any kind of romantic relationship between each other.
"Come now! One look at you two and anyone would think you guys are dating!"
'Is that what we really look like?' both Y/n and Kazuha wondered.
"You're still holding hands as well. Who wouldn't think that?"
"Director, please don't tease everyone you see..."
A tall man dressed very elegantly walked up behind the playful girl. He seemed very used to her constant jokes and pranks. Hu Tao complained to the man about how he was no fun and how he should lighten up a little. The confused "couple" stood there watching the whole thing, wondering why they were still standing there.
The taller man, they found out to be Zhongli who is the consultant of the funeral parlor, bowed in apology dragging the director back to work saying there was still much to do. Y/n couldn't help but giggle at the two as it reminded her of when she would scold Heizou about not showing up at the police station.
"What kind of relationship do you think the two have? Depending on the situation it might be hard to get her to Kai."
Kazuha heard a voice whisper nearby. He glanced over to see the same people from earlier. Y/n didn't seem to notice and kept looking at the buildings around her. Upon coming up with an idea, Kazuha brought Y/n's hand up to his lips and placed a gentle kiss. Her face flustered by his action and he innocently smiled at her. The people from behind also looked surprised and Kazuha assumed his plan worked.
"Why don't we go get something to eat?"
"How can you so casually ask that right after what you did?!"
Kazuha laughed and ran ahead, leaving Y/n to run after him. As they ran, people couldn't help but pause what they were doing and watch. They really did look like a lovely couple.
