What I want more than anything, is her. More than a GP win, hell, even more than a world drivers championship. Sitting in my room, I feel her absence. She's right there, right through the door, I remind myself. I want to talk to her, but I'm scared to mess it up.

I'm not a stranger to messing up every relationship I've been in, but with Mere it's different. She knows me so well, knows all my flaws. She expects no one but myself, every other girl I've been with expected a formula 1 driver. Meredith expects me for me, she accepts me as Pierre, not Pierre Gasly. I hear a soft knock on my door,

"Come in," I croak out, it's Mere, which is no surprise. She walks in with her eyes wide open, I forgot I was shirtless and sprawled on my bed. Her attraction to me is obvious, especially since she didn't reject my kiss the other night. She said "not now" so I'm waiting, waiting for her to make the move.

It takes her a while to speak, "Do you have any plans for today?" she asks, gripping onto the door not taking a step closer to me,

"Nope, do you?" I questions and she shakes her head, "We can stay in, if you want," I suggest,

"Yeah, that sounds good. We've been doing a lot of activities recently," she says and closes the door, leaving me alone again. I hit my head against the backboard of the bed. If she didn't make a move soon, I may explode. I don't know how long I will be able to contain myself.

A week later, and still nothing. I thought it would be easy to make her wait, but it's driving me insane. To have her so close and I can't touch her. We're in Charles's car, which he let me borrow. I'm driving and she's in the passenger seat, we're returning from a dinner.

"How do you feel knowing we only have a week left together?" I tap my fingers on the steering wheel while Meredith shifts uncomfortably in her seat,

"Can you turn up the AC?" she asks, fanning herself with her hand,

"You're ignoring my question," I say, making the AC stronger. She sighs,

"I'm upset about it," she mutters,

"Join me. Travel the world with me,"

"Pierre..." she looks away from me,

"Meredith. Please," I fight back,

"If I said no back then, why would I say yes now?" Fuck waiting, waiting is overrated. I pull over onto the side of the road, which probably isn't allowed.

"What are you doing?!" Meredith expresses her distress but I only have one thing on my mind,

"Shut up," I grab her face and slam it against mine. I don't waste time by kissing her softly, I go in rough. I want her to know I can't live without her, 10 years was already too much. A sound escapes her mouth,

"Tell me not to stop," I whisper against her lips, she stays silent, "Meredith," I grumble,

"Don't stop," she says, her voice heavy. That just fuels me more. I kiss her neck now, trying not to leave any marks, she notices that,

"Pierre, I don't care," she speaks. Once I get the "okay" from her, I'm biting and sucking her neck in all the right places. She's moans,

"Fuck," I pull away from her,

"I told you not to stop," she frowns,

"Meredith, I'm not going to fuck you in Charles's car," I put the car out of parking mode and begin to drive away,

"I'm sure he wouldn't mind," she says,

"I mind," I grip the wheel hard, avoiding making eye contact with her. I need to get to the apartment fast, "Cars are uncomfortable,"

She laughs, "You've had car sex?" I shrug my shoulders in response.
