AN: hey! So uh- it's been a very long time since I've uploaded and if I'm being honest it's bc I forgot this story existed. I don't write a lot, but lately my writers block has just been flying out of the window so- I present you another chapter!!

----

You sat next to Clem and Aj while they ate. But instead of eating yourself, you just played with your food. "Is something wrong?" Louis asked, genuinely concerned. "No- no. It's nothing." You gave him a smile before pushing the food away slowly. Before you knew it, Aj was finished with his food- "Clem?" Aj whined, obviously still hungry. "Here" you said, handing your bowl to Aj, "I'm not hungry anyways.". "You sure?" Asked Clem, "yeah. I am." You smiled at her.

"I'm all done!" Said Aj. "Me too." Clem said, her bowl empty. "Now what?" Aj asked, "I'll tell you what" Louis reached into his pocket and pulled out a pack of cards. "Violet! Its time.". Louis shuffled the cards while Violet came and sat down next to Marlon. Marlon collected the bowls and set them to the side, "What's the game tonight Lou?" The blond haired boy asked. "War" Louis replied enthusiastically, "The oldest game around. A game played by man and beast alike. The only game there is." Quickly after Louis finished his rant, Clem spoke up "Sounds fun. How do we play?" "It's easy." Violet said, "Everyone gets a stack of cards. Everyone flips one over. Highest wins." She shrugs her shoulders while she explains the game. "Cool" you said. "But- the winner gets to ask Clem or (Y/N) a question!" Both you and Clem shot Louis a look. "What? I want to get to know you. We all do!" He said, defending himself." Violet and Marlon nod in agreement. "And what if we win" Clem said, crossing her arms. "Then you get to ask us one. It's only fair." "Wait what about Aj-" You looked over and he was gone. Clem looks behind you and sees Aj with Tenn, obviously having fun. "Come on Clem, you can take your eyes off him for a quick game." You said, giving her a smile. "Your right." She smiled back at you. "Louis, if you would." Marlon said, looking at Louis to start the game. After everyone flips their card over, it's decided that Violet got the highest card. "Clem, about Aj.." Violet started, "where are Ajs parents?". ".. they uhm. They died. Good people who didn't get to make it." Clem explained. The next round comes and Clem had gotten the highest card. "Hey, I win!" Clem said, a smile forming on her face. "Hey, you do. So... what do you want to know?" Louis pointed at everyone but you, thinking you and clem had known each other for a long time. "What's up with your haircut, Marlon?" Clem asked, making Marlon seem offended. You scoffed and laughed, but you also kind of wanted to know why he chose a mullet. "Uh.. what do you mean?" Marlon said, quite obviously hurt by Clems question. "She means it looks like a dead cat. Probably smells like one too." Violet exclaimed. Clem only nodded in agreement. "I look cool" Marlon said in reply to Violets snarky comment, "Whatever you say." "I say I look cool.". You giggle and flip over your card, along with everyone else. Louis had won this round causing him to yell "Booyah!". Louis looked at you, "so uh... ever.. ever had a boyfriend?" "Oh my god-" Violet said, slamming her fist on the table. "What? It happens. Perfectly valid question." He said, looking to you for an answer. "Well, not boyfriend. I had a girlfriend once," You answered shrugging it off. "Well, you guys can keep playing. I might go turn in. See ya." You answered, standing up and making your way back to yours (and Mitchs) room

-time skip bc yes-

The next morning you, Clem and Aj went to find Marlon to see if you could permanently stay.
