9 - Robot Clowns

"Blitzo?" Edd exclaimed, running to the stall.
"Oh, hey, you two, you should probably check up on Stolas, I've got some unfinished business to take care of." Blitzo snarled, drawing his pistol. Edd and Matt turned around to see a terrifying robot clown, damaged by the fires that were engulfing the park. Upon seeing this, the two immediately scuttled away. The two dashed around the park, keeping a look out for Stolas, but to no avail. Eventually, coming from the fun house, Matt heard Stolas' annoyed voice calling out, "Hm, I think I'm supposed to be bodyguarded right now!"

Looking into the entrace of the fun house, he could see a tiny imp latched onto Stolas' back, dagger drawn to his neck. Still holding onto his thing, Matt drew his pistol and shot the creature in the back of the head.
"Ugh, that's better." Stolas remarked. "Er- where is Blitzy? He's my knight in shining armour, not you other ones!"
"Um, he's a bit busy right now." Matt replied, sliding down the entrance ramp.
"Busy being an idiot, that's what." Edd added, also sliding down.
"What kind of an idiot?" Stolas enquired.
"Well, he set everything on fire, for one." Edd explained. With a deadpan expression, Stolas walked away to find Octavia.

"D'you think we should help Blitzo? It doesn't seem like the best situation, fighting a robot clown." Matt suggested.
"I guess so." Edd sighed, walking back up the slope. When they reunited with Blitzo, he was engaged in combat, attempting to shoot at the robot but every bullet bouncing off it. Taking in his surroundings, Matt formed a plan in his head. Quickly, he placed his hand on Edd's shoulder just as the robot was charging up to dash at Blitzo, and snapped his fingers, causing time to freeze.

"Woah. Since when were you able to do that?" Edd asked in wonder.
"I've got a plan." Matt began, disregarding the question. "There's a lizard thing over there with some chains around its neck. If I climb up there and use those chains as reins, I'll be able to control it. So, if that clown charges towards Blitzo, I'll be able to intervene and have that lizard swallow it. Sounds good?"
Edd nodded, moving out of the way so he wasn't in the crosshair of the robotic clown. Matt clambered up the back of the lizard and grabbed the chains tightly. The two nodded at each other, and Matt snapped his fingers once again.

Time returned to normal, and the robot barreled towards Blitzo. Quickly thinking, Matt pulled forward on the chains, causing the lizard to put his foot forward. The robot crashed into the lizard at full speed, sending it flying in the air and, just like Matt had predicted, the lizard swallowed it in a single gulp. Matt swiftly leaped off the lizard and landed right next to Blitzo.
"I have no idea what the fuck happened there but, uh, good plan, you two." Blitzo remarked.

All of a sudden, an explosion rose behind the three, causing them to be shot into the air, only to come crashing down outside the main entrance, right next to Stolas, holding Octavia in his arms.
"Way to ruin a perfectly good trip to a theme park, Blitzo." Edd scowled.
"Worth it! That slutty toy clown had. It. Coming!" Blitzo shouted before promptly passing out.
"Guess I'll be driving us back today." Matt whispered.
