Chapter 15| Reflect, Remember

"Why're you trying to marry her off so fast? She's only 14. I told you it's not okay since she was 5–" The wife complained, Chiyo glared at him. That's where the truth came out. The man she loved flipped so suddenly to her approach, a fierce tone in her voice. "I thought we were passed these customs?! We're better than them and YOU—"

"Move." He took her shoulders and shoved her out of his face. "I shouldn't care for someone who's not even my daughter. She's better off out of my damn house. You too, you...you..." He snarled at her, she was pressed against the wall. Choked up by his words. "I should've known!" His hand hitting the wall by the side of her face, he was starting to tear up while cl etching his jaw. "6 months... when..WHEN?!"

"I.. Tsubasa—"

"Was it that leave you did? Out of country... when you said. I-.." Tsubasa was struggling to find the words. "Don't lie to me, Woman. The doctor confirmed it when I went to save her life for you! You wanted a daughter so badly didn't you? Well! Here we are! Do you not realize... what the hell this family is sinking into?.." He started to raise his voice. "Now someone's child! In my care! Has to live with the conseq—" he paused. The presence of his third son, Minoru rubbing his eyes tiredly when leaving his room. There was dim lit lights down the hall to their rooms.

"Mama.. Papa?" He asked. Not aware of the situation before him. Though it's not like he didn't just hear what was going on. "Hiyori...? What about Hiyori?" He was too young to understand it but he knew that daughter obviously meant his sister. He yawned and held a small rabbit in his arms.

"Why're you up,Minoru?" It was the first time he's seen it. He was probably the first of three sounds to see this aura rise in his father. It made his short ears angle down, his mothers face looking away from his son when looking at her desperately for answers. "You have school..."
His father didn't turn back to him, his dark aura was beginning to shine more.

"Sorry. Sorry." He scrambled back into his room, quietly closing the door. That was all there was left, the air began to change between all of them.

'What about our kids already? What's so wrong with them??'
'Tsubasa! Calm down!'

'The nerve you have!'

"Thanks to me again. The child your raising will live long, of course since it took my Doctors time while I plan. You seem uneasy, Tsubasa. Well, you must be fairly aware what I will ask right? .... Right. Your Daughter's loyalty to me could make up for your MIA act with Chiyo. A clever woman you have but it's best you take her before another deception comes to mind. Yes, of course I'm aware. She fell into my territory and faced consequences she wasn't prepared for, though it wasn't in my intentions to have such outcomes. Never mind the detail, you can discuss with your brother if you're very curious. Shall I involve your other children who're by blood? ...... Great. We'll keep in touch."

Lil' Blast from de past

"Tenko, Hana. I invite you over! Please come by in a couple of hours...!"  Hiyori's eyes were watering, she was extremely embarrassed and didn't know how to go by her passion for this moment.  Her pride shot by the softened heart she was growing to have. Nonetheless, she had a lot on her mind."I... cleaned up my room... I did it an hour ago but I didn't do anything unless..You guys.un..BYE!!"

Why am I remembering this now..?
The whole area changed, building my memories from nothing but a white plane of existence.
