Chirping can be heard from a distance where students are having their lunch while laughing and talking to each other about whatever thing they are interested in. Teachers were as usual gossiping about how much students are giving them hard time in doing their work.
The sunlit sun was hiding behind the light black clouds, it was noon but the weather was chilly. The wind was slightly cold when it swung and touched the soft face of the boy who was sitting nowhere near the hustle.
How much he loves volleyball can be seen in his dark black shining eyes, just by how he looked at the ground below him from the not-so-far terrace. He was peacefully shutting his eyes at this feeling. He wished to play right now; the weather was perfect for it. The wind was blowing harshly. Just the way he likes it.
Playing hard till he bleeds.
To feel the pain. But he cannot.
He needs to rest. Father orders!
Why all the time his father nags at him? He is a grown-ass boy who is here for his upcoming volleyball tournament, he can manage everything by himself, right? Then why doesn't father understand this? A deep heavy sigh evacuated those red heart-shaped lips, his body was tired but the breeze couldn't let him rest.
Wanted him to feel and just feel. Then again, he can't feel a single ounce of coldness.
It hurts.
He wanted to voice it out for once. How can he even say that? He scoffed at himself and his miserable life.
Two soft giggles were fleeing around the air, but it was still distant. There were two girls when he looked down at the ground again. Just like him they both were also not doing their lunch, they were just having fun in the mud which was precisely formed because of how heavy the downpour was nearly twenty minutes ago.
