“What’s the matter?”

Haruto got Gu Hong to change it to a video call. When the screen lit out, Jungkook could see Haruto’s tear-stained face.

Haruto saw that his father was still in his office.

After so many years, he was already used to it. He asked pitifully, “Dad, you’re still busy?”

“Mm, I am.”

Jungkook then asked, “What’s the matter?”

Haruto held the cell phone. Knowing that Haruto would be chatting with Jungkook for a while, Gu Hong returned to the room to rest.

Haruto had a miserable look on. He laid on the sofa as he stared at his father in the video. “Dad, I miss mom.”

This young child’s soft voice was full of pitiable misery.

It melted hearts.

Jungkook sighed from the screen. Putting the documents on hand down temporarily, he looked at the screen. “Do you miss her a lot?”

Haruto nodded. “Yes.”

“Come over tomorrow. I’ll be with you.”

Hearing that, Haruto agreed but with reluctance, “Okay.”

After hanging up, he returned to the bedroom and climbed into his cradle before falling asleep soundly.

On the second morning, Gu Hong sent Haruto to Jungkook’s office.

Jungkook was currently in a meeting. Haruto could see him clearly through the glass door.

Many people were listening to Jungkook attentively.

Seeing that Jungkook was inside, his eyes shone. Ignoring the secretary who was trying to stop him, he ran in.

“Dad!”

Haruto’s voice broke the silence of the meeting room. Everyone looked to the door in shock. Jungkook’s expression was indifferent, and no one could tell if he was angry.
