Working with the Man I adore

I was hired as a cabinet member in Duterte's administration. He gave me the Department of Agriculture since he knew I love gardening and I'll always give my heart to our dear farmers since I supported them during my first term as a young senator.

POV: First day of work, i should be in Malacañang before 8:00 o'clock for the cabinets meeting, but it's 7:30 and i was stuck here in my car for almost an hour now. My God! I cannot be late! i don't want the President have his first impression to me as tardy.

I arrive at the conference room at 7:50 a.m, just on time before the President show up. God is Good! 🙌🏻

President Duterte: I asked all of you here today to talk about the some timely and relevant issues the country is facing. But before I start, let me introduce to you the new member of the cabinet, she will be handling the Department of Agriculture. I bet you know her because she was the brightest news anchor during her time and was a 3 term senator. I am so excited to work with the brightest, hard-working and very beautiful who doesn't even age a little, Ms. Loren Legarda

(everyone is excited and clapping their hands, and then Loren stand up)

Loren Legarda: Thank you very much Mr. President for the kind words. I am also excited to work with you all. I promise that I will do the best I can to perform my duty well.

President Duterte: Loren, can I ask you something?

Loren Legarda: Sure Mr. President, you can ask me anything.

Presiden Duterte: This is just an honest question ma'am, if you don't mind. How come you didn't age at all? since the first time I saw you in Davao when I was still a mayor, up until now that I am the President you didn't change a bit. Ahh meron pala! Medyo tumaba ka lang Ma'am. Ano ba secreto mo?

Loren Legarda: (laughing so hard) Ikaw talaga Presidente hindi ka talaga nagbago, palabiro ka pa din. Ang secreto ko po ay kumain ng gulay, maraming maraming gulay lalo na ang malunggay, paborito ko yun (sabay tawa)

everyone is laughing while clapping their hands, the room was full of laughters before they started the meeting.

POV: President tackled alot of issues that our country is facing, health crisis, national security, climate change, sugar shortage to mention a few. It was a tiring day for all the cabinet member specially to Loren beause she stopped working since her last term as a Senator.
