Loren is packing her things for an out of town trip. He will visit in Tawi-tawi, to see by herself the life of our countrymen there and give them some assistance. Loren is very good at this, she love doing humanitarian services, and all the laws that was past during her time in the senate will surely benefited those people in lower and middle class family, they were her priority because they were the first to feel the changes in our country.
POV: Nanay (her Nanny since she was born) came while she was arranging her things for a three day trip
Nanay: Anak, sigurado ka ba na safe lang pumunta doon? Kasi marami daw rebelde doon, baka kung mapano ka
Loren: Nanay, syempre safe ako, may mga makakasama din naman ako doon, at tsaka mga Pilipino yun, wala silang gagawin na masama sa akin. Ilang beses na akong pumunta doon nuong akoy isang mamamahayag pa, wala namang nangyari.
Nanay: Iba naman kasi iyon anak, hindi ka pa parte ng gobyerno nun', at isa pa, kilala ka na bilang isang senador, baka kung ano gawin nila sa inyo.
Loren: Nanay, wag kang mag-alala, hindi naman kami pababayaan ng gobyerno.
Nanay: Mag-iingat ka at magdasal palagi.
Loren: Opo nanay (sabay yakap)
Loren lost her mother when she was still a journalist, but she still considered herself as lucky because Nanay never left her side since the day she was born. She really love her Nanay and she always said that what she had now was because of the woman who took care of her since she was a little. Loren grew up in a middle class family, just like any other typical middle class family, both parents were working and the children was left at home with nannies. Loren is so grateful of her Nanay, she taught and raised her like an Ilocana where she came from, she might not have a DNA of an Ilocana in her blood but her beliefs and upbringing was like an Ilocana. Masinop matiyaga at madisiplina. And thats the reasons why Loren was always on top of the senatorial race.
POV: While riding in the car going to the airport, Loren ask her secretary who will go with them in Tawi-tawi
Loren: Lyn sino ba makakasama natin sa Tawi-tawi?
Lyn: Marami po Maam, nandun si General Bato, General Lacson, at ibang mga senador.
Loren: Bakit hindi mo naman sinabi na may mga senador? alam mo ba kung sino sino sila?
Lyn: Sorry talaga Ms Loren, ngayong umaga lang din sila nag confirm. Ang makakasama natin ay sina Sonny Angara, Pia Cayetano, Bong Rivilla at.....
Loren: At???? sino pa?
Lyn: At si Migz (sabay takip sa mukha)
Loren: Pambihira ka naman Lyn, kung alam ko lang sana nag sakit sakitan na lang ako. Ano ba yannn
Lyn: Pasensya na po Ms Loren, last minute po sila nag confirm.
Loren: Ok lang, wala na akong magagawa eh, andyan na yan. Basta wag na wag mo akong iiwan at baka may lumapit na hayop sa akin.
Lyn: Sure Ms Loren, i will be your close in bodyguard (sabay tawa)
They arrived in Naia and went straight to the check in area where she saw a really good looking man standing, wearing sunglasses and looking at her. It was too late when she realize it was Migz. She didn't recognize him because she was wearing sunglasses too and she forgot to wear her contactlenses.
POV: He really didn't change a bit. He is still so attractive. She reach the line for check in where Migz was in front of her
Migz: You really look so good dear.
Loren: Stop it.
Migz: We really need to talk Loren.
Loren: We have nothing to discuss.
Migz: Ayusin natin to.
Loren: Anong natin? Wala akong aayusin kasi the last time I checked, I didn't do anything wrong.
Migz: Aayusin ko to. Hinding hindi kita bibitawan...
POV: Migz left after checking in his luggage. Lyn is now teasing Loren.
Lyn: Oh! possessive! it makes him more hotter ( sabay tawa)
Loren: Tumahimik ka!
Loren to the ground attendant: Can you give me a seat next to her? ( pointing Lyn who was in her back)
Ground Attendant: I am sorry Maam but we are fullybooked, I cannot change your seat, but i think you will still sit beside her let me check it... oh yeah! you will sit next to her!
Loren: Oh thats great! Thank you dear.
POV: Loren was looking for her seat when she reach to the aisle where Migz was sitting. She double check it but it looks like she will be sitting in the middle with Migz and Lyn so she exchange her seat to Lyn.
Loren to Lyn: Sige na umupo ka na sa gitna.
Lyn: Maam dito po sa aisle yung seat number ko, baka pwedi dito na lang ako kasi baka ma disturbo ko kayo kasi palagi akong naiihi
POV: Migz was looking at them discussing and smiled
Loren: What's with the smile? (she irritately ask Migz)
Migz: Wala naman, ang cute mo kasi.
Since Loren doesn't have a choice, she sit next to Migz. She will be sitting there for the next four hours and he's loving it.
Migz: (whispers) You smell so good dear
Loren: Don't talk to me. (sabay lagay ng earphones sa tinga)
POV: 1hr and 30mins past, Lyn and Loren fell asleep, Loren accidentally rest her head on Migz's shoulder. He smell her hair. God knows He misses her smell so much. He was enjoying the moment when the aircraft experience some turbulence, in his surprise he hold Loren's head to protect it. Loren woke up.
Loren: (realized that she was sleeping to Migz shoulder,nakakahiya) Oh sorry! nakatulog ako.
Migz: Its fine Loren, matulog ka lang, malayo layo pa ang byahe.
Their eyes meet. Loren misses him so much but she really need to act tough. While Migz look at her with full of admiration, he never look at her differently even if they were apart for a year.
POV: Loren lean on Lyn's side until the aircraft landed.
