We made it close to the broader and stopped to say goodbye to Gleeson and Clarisse

"You sure you don't want to come with us?" Gleeson asked

"Yeah" Hawthorn said

"Maryland is shorter" Gleeson said

"I know, I just have a feeling about Pennsylvania" Hawthorn said

"You heading home to the family when everything done?" Gleeson asked

"Yeah, you know maybe you should think about settling down someday" Hawthorn said

"What and miss all the action? I'm good" Gleeson said but something about the way he said it said that he did want it a little.

"Stay safe" Clarisse said with a nod then she and Gleeson walked away.

after we parted ways we made our way to Pennsylvania, while they made their way to Maryland both just one state away from New York

"Well, Let's try not to get into too much trouble here, I want to make it to New York as soon as we can" Hawthorn said

"I'm with you on that one" Cecil said

We did a fast paste walk through town while trying to keep out of sight and after walking for about an hour Hawthorn stopped and sniffed the air

"Monster?" I asked

"No, Half-blood" Hawthorn said

"Really? where?" Cecil asked

"This way" Hawthorn said before he started to walk off.

Cecil and I followed him until he walked up to a Brick building that kinda looked like an old theater. the kind you watch performances in and not the kind you watch movies in.

We walked up to the front door and were about to walk in when a man stopped us.

the man had dirty blond hair that was short and messy and brown eyes. he had a red dress shirt on with a black and gray striped tie and a pair of black dress pants and shoes.

"Do you have Tickets?" the man asked

"Tickets?" Hawthorn asked

"For the show" The man said

"We don't have any, how much would it be to get some?" Hawthorn asked

"It's 25 for kids and 50 for adults so it would be 100 for the 3 of you." The man said

"That seems like a lot" Cecil said

"Believe me, you get what you pay for" the man said but the look that Cecil gave him made it clear that he thought it was a rip-off.

"Look, you can pay or leave" The man said

"We'll pay" Hawthorn said as he pulled out the money and handed it to the man. as he pulled the money out of his wallet I notice that he only had a few bills left.

the man handed Hawthorn tree tickets and let us in through the door

We walked into a low-lit room that had a stage and round tables laid out in front of it. that had red table cloths over them and six dark wooden chairs around them. the floor was the same wood as the chairs and the walls were red like the table cloths and about half of the tables were full.

"I don't think we were changed right to just see a show" Cecil said

"I couldn't just leave when I know there's another half-blood somewhere in here" Hawthorn said

We found a table that was empty and more out off to the side and sat down

"Would you like some water while you decide what to eat?" a Woman with red hair tied up in a high ponytail asked as she walked over to our table and set three menu's down

"We're not spending more money" Cecil said

"I think you're misunderstanding, the food is free." The woman said

"Wait what?" Cecil asked

"You pay for dinner and the show. I mean there are limitations. you can't have more then one meal per person without having to pay for it and if you want anything besides water. but other than that" The woman said

"Do you have vegetarian options?" Hawthorn asked

"Of course, on the back side of the menu" the woman said as she took the menu in front of him and flipped it over to show him

"Right here" she said as she pointed to the menu

"So, water?" The woman asked

"Yes, please" I said and she nodded and then walked away

"Ok, maybe they didn't overcharge us" Cecil said

I looked down at the menu. I didn't know what I wanted but after having nothing but after having mostly vegetarian canned food and bags of chips I knew I wanted something with meat. I'm fine with other people being vegetarian but I definitely didn't want to be one.

We looked through the menus for a few minutes before the woman came back with three glasses of water and set one down in front of each of us.

"Are you ready to order?" The woman asked

"I think so" Hawthorn said

"Great, so what will it be" the woman said as she pulled out a notebook and pencil from her apron.

"I'll try the Tomato Pie" Hawthorn said

"Tomato Pie" the woman repeated as she wrote it down

"And what about you?" She asked looking at me

"Um, the Cheesesteak" I said

"Cheesesteak" " the woman repeated as she once again wrote it down. Then she looked over at Cecil

"What's Scrapple?" Cecil asked

"It's pork-" The woman started to say but Cecil cut her off

"Nevermind, I think I'll just have the chicken and waffles" Cecil said

"Chicken and waffles" The woman repeated as she wrote down our last order.

"Alright, I'll be back shortly with your food" The woman said before taking our menus and walking away

"Don't like pork?" I asked

"I don't know I've never had it because I don't eat it" Cecil said

"Why not?" I asked

"I come from a Jewish family and in the Torah, it says not to eat meat unless it comes from an animal that chews its cud and has cloven hooves." Cecil said

"I didn't know that" I said

"Well, we haven't eaten a lot of meat on this trip" Cecil said

"That's true" I said

"So where is this other Half-blood?" Cecil asked

"I'm not sure, but I think they are behind the curtain on the stage" Hawthorn said

the woman came back with a severing tray and took our food off of it and placed it in front of us.

Hawthorn had what looked like a good size slice of pie that was oozing tomato paste, Cecil had waffles with a creaming sauce over it that had chunks of chicken in it and I had a sandwich that had a hoagie roll cut down the middle with thinly sliced pieces of fully cooked steak and melted provolone cheese on top. the only part that I didn't really like as I looked at it was the steak. I mean who had fully cooked steak? that just makes it though.

I took a bite of my cheesesteak and find that it wasn't actually that bad even with the fully cooked steak.
