Lena

My body groaned in the best ways as I got out of my bed, my alarm set extra early, so I could get up, make Noah a huge breakfast in bed, and then surprise him. He is eighteen after all.

I kick off my covers as I wet my hair down and pull a shirt pink sundress on and slip Sandler on my shoes, brushing a light layer of mascara over my eyes and then pink blush on my cheeks.

I walk into the kitchen and pull out the ingredients for Noah's favorite, blueberry pancakes with Nutella on them. There's a few things I've learned about Noah after living with him the past two weeks. A) he likes sugar. And B) he LOVES my cooking.

So I pull out a bowl and mix the blueberries into the mix, I start on bacon and pour four big pancakes onto the grill and flip them as they cook more I put the bacon on a side plate and pull the pancakes off then layer them on top of each other like a cake with Nutella in between each layer, then written on top in Nutella and blueberries is "happy birthday Noah!"

I cut up fresh fruit and put it in a bowl to the side and put the pancake cake on a tray and put a one and a eight candle on the top,

"Hey" comes a tired voice from the stairs I look up, it's Nathan, I smile and my stomach does a backflip at the sight of him with his messy hair snd shirtless look? I could get used to that.

"Hey, do you wanna help me take this to Noah?" I ask and he nods I light the candles and pick the tray up snd balance it as I walk up the stairs we pad over to Noah's room

I mouth to him "one...two..." and then out loud I yell, "THREE" he pushes the door open and we both spring inside

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY-" we say then cut off, because Noah isn't alone in his bed, no he defiantly has company...a certain red headed girl, a red headed girl named penny, the same red headed girl named penny who threw him over her shoulder the other day in the beach, is laying in his bed curled up next to him. Luckily both of there clothes are still on

They had both jumped awake by now nut me and Nathan are thanking in the doorway staring blankly at them they look at us and we stare back at them.

"Oh my god!" I say then burst out laughing Nathan joins me, it takes them a second but they join in too and soon we're all just laughing, Levi walked in and he's staring at all of us confused then he sees Noah and penny and understanding crosses his face.

"God damn, looks like penny beat me to it!" I say laughing setting the tray down on his bed

"Make a wish" I say he pauses then blows the candles out I smile

"Enjoy" I say and he smiles

"Thank you, Lena it means a lot" he says and Hugs me I smile and hug him back

"Of course, although, your real cake is going to be epic, you fucking eighteen!" I say and he grins at me and takes a bite out of the pancakes.

"I have more downstairs, for everybody else" I say anthem pushes off the doorframe

"I'll help you" he says and I smile as we go downstairs, Levi doesn't give us a second glance, and that doesn't bother me.

"How long did it take you to make this?@ he asked and I shrugged

"Not a long time but I got up early just in case" I say holding four plates, balancing them up my arm the way I learned when I waitresses at the country club a few summers in high school

"Oh, well these pancakes are delicious" he says holding one in his hand along with the plate of bacon and another bowl of fruit he's chewing a bite of pancake I smile and roll my eyes at him
