"I still need you" Natasha Romanoff x Fem Reader

THE RED ROOM PART 1

Y/ns Pov
I wake up on a hard, cold floor.
Natasha, was shaking me awake.

"You ok?" She asks, "perfect" I say.
"Natasha. I can't save us. I need you to know that I'm sorry. I pledged my life to a cause. You know, I thought I was being very brave. Possibly the bravest. But I wasn't being brave. I was coward. In Cuba, when they came and took you away from me... no cause is worth that" as he kept up his apology.

Natasha opens our door. She puts her hand out for me to take, I take it, then cloud appears on my shoulder.

He was against the glass, it was all fogged up, probably from his breathing. Natasha slid open the door and he slightly fell, he looks around shocked that the door is open.

He walks out, but grabbed his helmet before he did.

"How did you do that?" Alexi asked.
"I designed these cells myself" Nat said, "Wait what?" I asked, letting go of mats hand, she then took off her mask. It was Melina.

"What?" Alexi says, as she takes of the wig.
"What?" He questions again.
"I bared my soul to you and it was just you the whole time?" Alexi questions.
"Yes, I'm afraid so. But wait, shhh, we are on comms with Yelena" Melina explains.

I put my finger to my ear and I can hear Melina twice.
"Yelena, its me, it's mama. You have a two inch blade concealed on your beltline" Melina explains.
"What?" We hear Yelena say.

We then hear grunts and bangs and screams.
"Couldn't have told me sooner" Yelena asked annoyed.
"Don't throw a fit. There wasnt time" Melina proclaims.
"Okay girls listen. I'm having trouble hearing you, but, Natasha, there's something I need you to know. I need you to know that I'm sorry. No more excuses okay? I gave my life for a cause. I thought i was brave" he started his apology again.

"You dont have earpiece " Melina explains.
"What?" He asked.
"Ya, she can't hear you. You don't have earpiece" she explained.
"Why not?" He asked
"Because it wasn't part of the plan" she explained.
"Oh, yeah? Well, what was the plan?" Alexi asks.
She explained that Nat pretended to be her, and she pretended to be Nat.
And that she had one earpiece set, which meant Alexi couldn't get one.

"Where did he take the vials?" Yelena asked.
"Probably down to cold storage. Dreykov still has the Widows under his control, so you have to expose them to this antidote" melina explains.

"Lena I'm already on my way to you" I say as I walk over to the nearest vent and cloud, boosts me up, following.

"Yeah. Sure easy" Yelena murmured.
