Chapter 11: Blood

Eros pov:

" congratulation your highness you have found the people the human traffickers we have been searching for days"

" It is nothing Felix but you should have told me such events have been in our empire"

" but your highness we didn't want to stress you out because you just came"

" i understand but please felix next time tell me i will help you after all that is my duty as crown prince"

" yes your highness"

" so Felix where is father and Athanasia"

" they are in the garden having tea time"

" how dare you how could you not tell me that you were having a tea time and there is even my favorite cake i am ashamed humph" 

'okay so let me explain after drooping the kids to a good orphanage i went to the palace and the next day i saw Felix at my door to be honest it was as if i was seeing a puppy who was waiting for his master to come home by the door but anyways so apparently he got to know the incident and came to check on me and here it was' ( onto the story)

' of course i wouldn't be dramatic if i didn't fall dramatically'

i fell on the chair dramatically with fake tears and looked at their reaction

After looking at their reaction i immediately sat up right and cough to pull them out of their train of thoughts  i started talking with father about some matters

" Eros i have heard that you caught the people we have been tracking for a while now"

" yes father but then again why not tell me earlier about this case" 

" well you just came we didn't want to stress you"

" i understand"

" will you start going to meeting with me like before"

" yes fath~"

i was interrupted when we heard a something break then i saw 

Athanasia spitting 'Blood'  I immediately came to Athanasia side followed by Father and Felix 

" Felix call the royal magicians quickly"

" now tell us what is wrong with her and can you heal her" i said in a cold tone 

this wasn't the time for me to be emotional i must stay strong for the people around me even if it doesn't seem so but i know father will be affected i was also getting frustrated but the goddam magician weren't helping 

" i am sorry your highness but even after conducting so many tests and i can't even find the source of her highness state i am sorry your majesty your highness" i knew he was scared to be beheaded as his voice was stutter so i decided to let him live and conduct the test my self

" you can live now" he almost ran away 

' as i approached Athanasia she suddenly woke up and started screaming in pain i immediately tried but I knew there was no use so i put her back to sleep and put a seal on her so that her heart does not explode as i did so i was met with athy relaxed face i smiled'

i turn around to tell them what i found

" Father Felix i know what is wrong with Athy"

" REALLY YOUR HIGHNESS/SON" they both yelled at the same time

" yes and it is that her mana is unstable and this can make her heart explode"

" can you heal her" 

" sorry but i can't but don't worry i will find someone to heal her" ' i actually lied i knew i could help her with no problem but i felt as if it was supposed to be someone else who should do that so i put a seal on to make sure she is safe in the meanwhile i will make sure to find the one supposed to save her'

" i understand son"

Time skip many days later

' right now i am laying on my bed in deep thought it has been many days in those days i was busy finding the twins a foster family luckily i did and trying to find the one supposed to help Athanasia' 

No one pov: as he was thinking he slowly started to drift into his slumber with a heavy heart and a tired mind
