The episode opens with Dipper, Mabel and Hope at a table during breakfast.
"Are you ready for the ultimate challenge?"
Mabel asked holding up the syrup.
"I'm always ready!"
Dipper said holding Mountie Man.
" Then you know what this means!"
Mabel said.
Camera zooms out to show Mabel and Dipper holding their respective syrup bottles.
"What are they doing?"
Klaus asked confused.
"Having a competition."
Ashlee responds with a chuckle.
"Syrup race!"
Mabel and Dipper say in unison.
The two tilt syrup bottles back and start to drip syrup into their mouths as Hope watches in amusement.
"That's...gross."
Rebekah made a face of disgust but was amused.
"Fair."
Ashlee said.
"Go, Sir Syrup!"
Mabel cheered.
"Go, Mountie Man!"
Dipper cheered.
"Go! Go!"
The two cheered.
"Almost... almost..."
Mabel taps the bottom of her bottle and the syrup drips onto her tongue.
"Yes! I won!"
Mabel coughs. Hope chuckled and high fives Mabel.
"Wonder why Hope didn't participate."
Kol asked.
"She doesn't like Syrup."
Ashlee responded. (Made it up lmao)
Klaus reminds himself to remember that.
"Good job Mabel!"
Hope cheered.
"Ho ho, no way! Hey Mabel, Hope, check this out."
Dipper said holding a newspaper.
"Human-sized hamster balls? I'm human-sized!"
Mabel gasped. Hope snickered softly shaking her head.
"No, no, Mabel. This."
Dipper said and points to a monster photo contest ad.
"Oh Dipper...he's going to be sucked in."
Davina sighed softly with amused eyes.
"We see weirder stuff than that every day! We didn't get any photos of those gnomes, did we?"
Dipper asked.
"Nope, just memories. And this beard hair."
Mabel holds up beard hair.
"Why did you save that?"
Dipper asked.
