'Why do you think you should be elected, or in other words, chosen for this position as my assistant?' he asked still slightly smirking from his last question, but half-frowning from his failed attempt to crack me. 'Because I am a intelligent, good listening, trustworthy and helpful young woman, sir.'

The minister was staring at me deeply, as if he was trying to look inside my soul with eye contact. 'So?' I asked 'So, you have the job. Come in on Saturday, no later than 5:35. Come into my office sign the registration form and get me a shot of espresso, 3 pumps of cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon and one sugar.' Well, that was easy.

'Take this slip and get appointments for your hair and make-up everyday up until Christmas, December 27th to be exact.' Why should I get my hair and makeup done when I could do it how I have it now?! 'Excuse me, but is there something wrong with my appearance? I don't see the point of getting my make-up done, when I could simply just do it myself.' 'You heard me.'
