(Reader's P.O.V)
It's been a few weeks after the fight with the G.I.W and recusing Danny. Ever since then Robin has been doing research before on that day he saw something in his brother and he was worried about Danny. He has been getting help from clockwork and frostbite. Danny got hurt in the fight but he was able to recover quickly due to his ghost form. But Connor has been very protective and possessive since then.
Danny and Connor were arguing because Connor hasn't let Danny do anything because he thinks he would get hurt. In the end Connor went to work on his bike a bit pissed and Danny sat on the couch and groans everyone else in the cave were either doing their own thing training or gone home for the night. Danny was wondering where his brother was since he hasn't seen him very much. Danny felt bad about the fight he had with Connor and decided to go and apologize. He got up and before he walked to the hanger he saw a ghost portal open and skulker, ember, came out they were beaten and bruised and Danny to them
"What happened, who hurt you?!- dp "The fright knight and the king"- skulker Then the fight knight came out of the portal and looked down at Danny and the others "You boy are the only one left the king has been battling all the ghosts in the ghost realm and you're the last one unless you yield or fight and end up like your friends "- fk
Danny was angry with the fight knight and this king for hurting his family and friends from the ghost zone and would not stand for. He accepted even though his family tried to get him to yield. Fight knight nods and moves a side so Danny could go through the portal. Just as Danny was walking into the portal Robin, Connor and kid flash were looking for Danny and saw him walk through a portal with the fight knight.
"DANNY!?"- ALL
They tried to get to the portal but it closed as soon as the fight knight went in. They saw Danny's ghost friend on the ground bruised and beaten
"What happened who was that?!"-robin
"That was the fright knight he is the loyal knight to the ghost king. The ghost king was in a long sleep but somehow he's awake and now he's taking control of the ghost zone once more"- skulker
"He has challenged every ghost in the ghost zone except Danny that's why he left with the fright knight"-ember
(Time skip by )
Danny went through the portal with the fright knight and walked through the doors where the king was sitting on his throne.
"Fright knight have you brought my last challenger"- tk
Fright knight bows "Yes your highness here he is"-fk Danny stepped forth in his ghost form
"Very well boy do you yield or do I have to put you in your place like the rest"- the king
"I'm not going down without a fight king"- dp
"Very well let's get this over with"-the king
The king got up from his throne and smirked and cracks his knuckles ready for the fight.
The king raised his hand out and his morning star weapon appears in his hand and charged this he just needs to hit Danny once and he will yield. But before the king could hit Danny he formed a force field around him to protect him. When the weapon collided with the force field and it didn't even break the force field and the king was surprised he had never seen ghost form a strong enough force field to knock himself back a little he was impressed. He smirked finally someone who was a little more of challenge. They kept fighting Danny was looking around trying to think of away out and made more clones of himself for the king to fight and he used a few to blast him with ectoplasm and some were taunting him and the king was getting angry and was trying to hit every Danny until it was the last one. the real Danny was about ready to used his ghost whale when the king had his back towards the real Danny he used his ghost whale and a few other clones did the same until they were out of breath and the clones poofed out of existence and the king was on the ground defeated. The king looked up at Danny
"Congratulations hafa you are now the ghost king... you have defeated me..."- the king
Then the fright knight came out and congratulate Danny and kneeling down to him and puts Danny in the kings crown but the crown changed to fight more his personality and so did the castle it was so much more friendly then before.
Then a few ghost who were the servants of the king came in and bows down
"Hello you highest we will be your servants from now on, we will help you learn how to be a king"- the servants
(Time skip back at mount justice)
They were waiting worried about Danny. They had tried everything to open portals and finding any open portals but no luck it was like the ghost king didn't want any ghost to escape or get in. So they have been waiting worrying for the last 5 hours. Then suddenly a portal opened and the fright knight came out
"Welcome the new ghost king"-fright knight
Danny comes out of the portal and stands next to the fright knight

"You don't have to call me that it's just Danny"-danny
Everyone stood there in relief and shock.
"What happened where have you been do you know how worried we were did he hurt you how did you become king?!"- all
Connor ran over towards Danny and picks him up and holds him bride style and Danny blushed a neon green. Danny looked up at him.
"Connor I'm fine I'm not hurt I'm sorry for yelling at you I know your just worried but I'm not used to all the love and it scared"- Danny
"It's fine Danny I'm sorry for yelling back I didn't know you were uncomfortable I understand I'll try not to smother you with my love"-connor
Danny and Connor kissed after they made up. Then Danny explained what the ghost king was trying to do and the fright knight helped explain some more of the ghost king's thoughts on the explanation.
