Making things right 1 (Ken)

Sean's POV

This is the moment. The moment that Kaycee and I were planning. The day has finally arrived. Two weeks ago, Kaycee suggested that I should make up with my ex-friends, especially Julian and Josh. But obviously, I suck at making plans so I asked Kaycee to help me. And I love the plan.

*flashback to one week ago*

"here's the plan," Kaycee started. "Since we can't go to Julian nor Josh straight away, that means we need to start easy," Kaycee continued. "What do you mean by easy?" I asked her sounding confused. Kaycee looked at me with a stunned look on her face. " You know you didn't just hurt Julian and Josh right? Like how about the others?" she asked me, looking at me with such disbelief. Right... the others. Almost forgot about them. "Anyways," Kaycee interrupted my thinking. " I say you should start with Ken and make your way up," she said. "Okay, how do I make it up to him?" I asked, excitement rushing through my body because I'm going to mend things. "First, we need him to listen to you..." 

*Flashback over* 

I saw Ken on the corner and pack up the courage and went to talk to him. "Hey," I softly said. "F*ck off, Sean," he replied with a harsh tone. Damn, that worked out well. "Hear me out," I said but immediately got cut off by Ken. " No," he said and walked away without looking back. I hurt him that bad huh? I ran to catch up with him but he walked too fast, and it was crowded. So I lost him. it's fine. I will find him in recess. Ken San Jose, I am NOT giving up.

~skip to recess ~

"Ken please listen to me," I said, begging him to stop walking away. "Listen, Lew, I just want to eat my food in peace," he said with anger in his voice. Almost like he was going to yell but holding it in. "I know. But I'm trying to make things right," I said with a sorrowful tone in my voice. Ken did a big sigh, then proceeded to look at his watch and said "Okay, you have three minutes to talk,". " I'm sorry Ken," I started. " Sorry isn't going to work Lew," he replied as fast as possible. "I know. But I don't know what to do to make this right," I said, looking down at my fingers and started to meddle with them. Ken rolled his eyes and talked a bit louder than before. "SERIOUSLY SEAN!?! THERE'S NOTHING YOU COULD SAY TO MAKE THINGS BETTER! ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS!" his voice got louder. "Well, I can't show how sorry I am if you won't let me" I replied, with tears forming in my eyes. I shouldn't be crying, he should. I destroyed every good friendship I had. Ken looked at me and I swear for a second his eyes went soft. Maybe he still cares about our friendship? Or maybe he feels pity for me? "What do you want me to do, Lew?" he asked impatiently. "Well..."

*flashback again to a week ago*

"Okay, what if I succeeded?" I asked. Kaycee looked at me like the answer was the most obvious thing in the world. "If you succeed in making Ken listen to you, then ask him to hang out with you. Just the way you did to me," Kaycee said with a smile on her face. I wish it was that easy. I don't think that he would hang out with me just like Kaycee did. Kaycee is different. Kaycee is willing for things to change. Ever since when we were young. Tahani wasn't kind to Kaycee at first, but slowly but surely they became friends. All because Tahani apologise to Kaycee for being a douche. Like how she forgave me so quickly, without a doubt. That's Kaycee. The others are not Kaycee. They don't love the idea of change. "You think this will work, Kayc?" I asked her for reassurance. Suddenly, I felt this warmness on my hand. It was Kaycee's hand on my hand. My smile has never been this bright before. "I know it's scary but I have faith in you," she said with a cheerful and comforting smile on her face. I know I can do it now because Kaycee is right next to ME.

*Flashback over* 

"Well...hang out with me,"
