Making things right 2 (Ken)

Ken's POV 

"Bails, I think I agreed on a bro date with Sean Lew," I said out of the blue while Bailey was cleaning her locker. "Ken, I say this with good intentions, are you high?" she asked after she closed her locker. How dare she!? How dare she accuse Kenneth Paul San Jose of being high. " Bailey, I don't do drugs, and you know that so please don't say it out loud, or else my mother might hear it," I said while walking side by side with her, taking her to her next class, Maths. Fun fact, her class and my class are far, so I'm late for class. She laughed at my joke and stopped walking, then she turned to me and asked "So, you are actually going to hang out with Sean?" I nod my head. She then asked when which I responded with after school. I can tell that she was trying to hold her laugh. "It's not funny, Bails. Help me," I said, showing my pout. Bailey managed to make her face neutral and told me to stop pouting. "Ken I can't do anything about this. I suggest you go and have fun on your "bro date" with Sean," she said while smirking. I hate how she's correct. I guess I'm going to hang out with Sean Lew.

Sean's POV 

I can't believe I'm hanging out with Ken later, just like old times. Where we play basketball and how he always claims that he's better than me. "Sean, usually I go to my dreamland," Kaycee interrupted my thought process. She then continued "Stop being me.". We are in the drama class lying on the theatre stage. Kaycee and I have a free period so we decided to hang out here, by lying down next to each other. Sounds normal. "Sorry for trying to steal your identity," I joked which earned me Kaycee's giggle. Does she realise that she has multiple laughs? "So... how excited are you to hang out with Ken?" she turned her head and asks me. She caught me looking at her. I CAUGHT MYSELF LOOKING AT HER! What's going on!? I didn't respond to her, I just stared. She whispered my name "Sean..." and begin to back away. While she was backing away, for some reason my instinct asked me to move forward. So I did. My body was getting closer to hers. Kaycee kept going backwards till she reached the dead end. I kept getting close to her no matter how much I was trying to stop myself. My face ended up being one inch away from her face.  "Not as excited as I am when I'm hanging out with you," I responded to her question. RINGGGGG!!! The bell rang. Kaycee immediately stood up saying "I need to go to my next class now. I hope you and Ken get along later, bye." Before I could say anything Kaycee left. Leaving me all alone. What have I done? I scared off Kaycee. I'm an idiot.

~Fast-forward to later

Ken's POV 

Here we are. Sitting on the basketball court ground. Staring at each other, hoping someone would just break this awkward atmosphere by talking. I kept seeing Sean's mouth opening and closing again, like he was trying to think of something to talk about. After for awhile, I decided to break the silence by asking Sean a question. "Why did you want to hang out with me all of the sudden?". He froze. Literally. Froze like a deer seeing headlights. It took him awhile to respond but when he did, it made sense. "I'm tired Ken. I don't want to hurt people anymore. And I certainly don't want to live with guilt. What I did was incredibly wrong and I know this now. And I want to apologise for what I did... I want to be your friend again Ken. I miss how we used to hang out. You were a great friend to me but I was shitty to you and everyone else. Now I need to fix my mess and make it up to the whole group... but I don't know how,". The way that Sean said that makes me thinks he's actually being genuine. In fact, I have never seen Sean this genuine and serious before in my life. I have this feeling to trust him. 

"Then I will help you,"
