December 11th - SundAy

It's been a few weeks since then, the girls and I started explaining to all of the mom's what's been going on. I sat on the couch with the girls as the mothers sat in front of us. "So, yeah. That... that about covers it." I say annoyed.

"So, Karen was pushed? And Tyler was--" Ms. Hayworth says but she cuts her off. "Murdered, yes. Both by 'A'. Tabby says annoyed.

"And 'A' is the train car guy?" Ms. Olivar asks in disbelief.

"Crazy Joe. Joseph England. You all went to school with him. He's the one who sent us those creepy text messages and you all those, gifts." Imogen says annoyed.

"It was a classic Agatha Christie revenge plot." Tabby says annoyed. "He was in love with Angela Waters in high school, and years later, set about punishing the people who were, in his mind, somehow a party to her death." I say in agreement. "The sins of the mothers visited upon their daughters." Imogen says annoyed.

"Why didn't you tell us what was going on?" Ms. Hayworth asks worried.

"'A' threatened us to keep quiet." Imogen says annoyed.

"We were afraid of what he might do if we didn't follow his rules. After we found Crazy Joe's body, we placed an anonymous call to the police." Faran explains to them. "We're assuming they found Joe. We're also assuming they assumed it was a suicide." I say annoyed.

"Why kill himself? After everything?" Ms. Olivar asks confused.

"We think probably because Y/n busted his ass... discovered his identity, where he was living." Tabby says annoyed. "Also, maybe... because he accomplished what he set out to do. Test us. Make us suffer." Imogen says annoyed.

"Punish the guilty. His words." Noa says annoyed.

"So, now it's time for you guys to tell us the truth, the whole truth... about your connection to Angela Waters." Imogen says annoyed.

I raise an eyebrow as they all look between each other worried. "We... were bullies... in high school. Horrible, mean girl bullies." Ms. Hayworth starts off nervously. "Angela and I... were in a secret relationship, but I denied it and said she was obsessed with me." Mrs. Honrada says nervously.

"I talked Angela into getting a tattoo. Even though I knew she'd get in trouble for it with her holy roller mother." Mrs. Bryant says nervously.

"I was smoking... outside of school. And when the janitor caught us, I made Angela say that it was just her." Ms. Olivar says annoyed.

"I wasn't a good friend to her. Angela confided something in me, something I should have helped her with." Ms. Hayworth says nervously. "Her assault?" Tabby asks worried. I take a deep breath as she nods her head in agreement.

"But why? Why were you all so cruel to Angela? What was it about that girl?" Imogen asks confused.

"It- It was a different time. Girls were meaner in the '90s." Mrs. Honrada says nervously. I look between the mothers as they all nod their heads in agreement. "Angela was... an easy target." Mrs. Bryant says in agreement.

"It was a game. A, a terrible game." Ms. Olivar says annoyed.

I turn to Imogen as she turns to me. "What about our mom? What did she do to Angela?" I ask curiously. I raise an eyebrow worried as they all shift in their seats uncomfortably. "Ms. Hayworth?" I ask worried.

"One Halloween, Davie thought it would be funny to make Angela throw filth at someone's door. And after Angela did it, Davie drove away in the car, and we all just left her there, alone." She explains to us. I gasp in surprise as I play with my fingers. "So what happens now?" I ask annoyed.
