Admiral groaned as she woke up, feeling something around her. Her eyes fluttered open before she noticed bandages wrapped around her arms and torso. Was she grabbed? Unlikely, but upon trying to move, pain shot through her. She instantly relaxed, allowing the pain to pause before she scanned the area. It was a small room with nothing in it. Her device was resting on the other side with a tool kit. What happened? Suddenly, one of the walls revealed to be a door as it opened, revealing a blue haired male. He paused upon seeing her awake before stepping out to grab something. He returned with a small bowl, no doubt food. She couldn't move her arms, but he seemed to understand that as he sat down beside her and offered a spoonful of food. She paused before allowing him to feed her. Afterwards, she hummed.

"Who are you?" Hearing her voice made her mind go blank. What did she miss? He paused before pulling out some note cards. She watched him as he wrote something down and shyly held it up.

'Ice. Dim Sun Admin.' She stayed quiet before he wrote something else down and showed it to her. 'I found you outside the guardian's den, wounded. Are you ok?' She nodded softly.

"Other than I can't move? I'm not dead, so that's a start." He hummed before her eyes landed on her device, which was still where it rested before. "Shit... I need to reach out to the others. They're probably panicking-" She then stopped herself. They would hear her weakness. Ice must've seen it as he held up another note card. She was grateful for Pichu's communication that trained her to read notes quickly.

'Do you need help? I can send it while you tell me what to say.'

"They'll know the difference between me and you."

'Watch me. Just tell me what to say.' She hummed as he grabbed the device from its spot.

"Ok... all you need to say is 'Voicemail, Voicemail-'" She trembled, pain surging through her. He gently touched her shoulder to steady her. God damn demons. "'Admiral to Union'. Ah shit-" He pulled her into a hug before she continued. "Ok... ok... um..." She went over what she already told him. Voicemail, her to union- "'I need assistance in the Desert ASAP. Admiral out.' Send that." He showed her a notecard with the needed words, minus the sounds of pain. She nodded in confirmation before he let her rest. He left the door slightly open, so she was able to hear.

"Voicemail, Voicemail. Admiral to Union. I need assistance in the Desert ASAP. Admiral out."

She wasn't able to say anything before she blacked out.

~~~
"What does that mean?!"
Luana was calming Dijon down as tears ran down his face from Admiral's Voicemail. He wasn't able to connect with her, so he was freaking out. Cedar and Seafoam went to go check while he went to reach out.
~~~

"Voicemail, Voicemail. Union to Admiral. Over?"

The Travel Operator eyed the device as Ice kept her comfy. Her voice was still rough and she could hear the panic.

"Shit." He grabbed the device before she gulped. "Just answer with 'Admiral to Union, Over.'" He nodded before responding with her voice.

"Admiral to Union. Over."

"Are you ok? What's happening?" Admiral made a noise, almost to complete her thought process.

"Tell him that I'm fine and I just need assistance." Ice nodded before relaying her words, getting another complaint.

"But-" She finally groaned before finding the strength to respond, Ice making sure she was heard.

"Dijon, I'm alright. I just need assistance. That's all." He seemed to fall silent as Ice muted their end. "Dear lord-"

Cedar was the one to calm the guardian (since Seafoam's ankle was messing her up). However the Dimwits finally showed themselves. They looked up as a helicopter carefully floated behind them.

"Oh come on-" Cedar groaned upon seeing the Dim Sun logo. The door opened as a blue haired male came out. Seafoam noticed where his gaze was and backlashed instantly.

"You're not getting the Yellow Gem! We got it first." The male seemed unaffected by her words before moving to the side, revealing Admiral. Cedar winced at the sight of the bandages. "Let her go!" Cedar finally called out upon realizing the situation, as the male still had his eyes on the Yellow Gem.

"Fine!" Seafoam shot a hiss at him as he tossed the Gem up. Cedar's Turtwig grabbed Admiral from the helicopter before the male closed the door and something hissed behind them. Seafoam got up and charged as Cedar got to Admiral.

~~~
Seafoam limped over as Admiral woke up. Cedar finished checking her before she spoke.
"H-hello?" Seafoam sat down as Cedar smiled at her.
"Hey Admiral." The Travel Operator blinked before tears filled her eyes. Seafoam let her hug her as she trembled.
"Shh... we're here. What happened?" Admiral didn't respond as she rubbed her back. "It's ok. We'll get you outta here." Cedar gulped as he picked Admiral up from Seafoam's arms.
"Come on. Let's go."
~~~

Dijon let the TO stay with him while the other two reported in. Admiral still hadn't spoken a word, but Crepe got details from her former Ranger Base.

"According to Parchment, Admiral was a common target for the Dimwits. Any of them could've attacked her and did this."

"Drat..."
