We start this chapter off as we see people waiting outside of a hospital room.
A doctor leaves the room and the people waiting perk up.
The girls:is izuku ok?!
Sero:is izuku alright?!
Denki and Kiri:is izubro ok?!
Inko:is my son ok?!
Doctor:p-please calm down so I can explain!
They calm down and the doctor takes a deep breath.
Doctor:okay, now your here for izuku midoriya correct?
They nod in response.
Doctor:okay well, he has taken a lot of damage. He has a few broken bones in his rib cage, his spine is heavily damaged but he will survive.
They all are in relief to the news.
Doctor:*sigh* but unfortunately their is some bad news...
They start to get nervous.
Setsuna:W-what's wrong..?
Doctor:the bones in his hand were shattered and beyond repair, and unfortunately we had to remove his hand...
He says to them.
Jirou:y-your kidding, right..?
Doctor:I wish I was...
He says as he takes his glasses off.
They are devastated by the news.
Mina:oh my god, izuku...
She says as she starts to tear up.
The girls start to cry for izuku.
Inko:oh my god, my baby..!
She says as she starts to cry.
Kendo goes to her and comforts her.
Kendo:can we see izuku..?
Doctor:yes, he's up so you may visit him...
He says as he leaves but this remembers something.
Doctor:before I forget, I must tell you that he will have to stay here for about a month so he can recover.
Inko:okay, thank you.
The doctor nods his head as he walks off.
They go into his room and see him sitting up, staring at his missing hand.
Pony:izuku..?
As she calls to him, he looks up and sees them standing infront of him.
Izuku:o-oh, hey guys.
He says with a smile.
Sero:hey bro, hw are you doing..?
Izuku:I'm ok, I just need to get used to this now...
He says as he looks down slightly.
Inko:izuku, my baby! I'm so sorry!
She says as she hugs him.
Izuku winces in pain but hold sit in.
Izuku:W-what are you apologizing for..?
Inko:if I just didn't let you do this, than this would have never happened!
She says as she cries into his arms.
Izuku:mom...
He hugs her and rubs her back.
