"Hey mum, sis." Alexa said as she walked through the door with bags full of clothes. "Hey honey, darling." Dad said walking through the door with more bags. "We got some things for the party next week." Alexa said smiling. "Some things?" I said laughing. "Everyone knows I'm much better than Shelly at throwing parties!" She said serious all a sudden. Shelly is her arch nemessis, she is another style freak like my darling sister. "But sis, I forgot to ask." She said smiling. "How did the date with Joey go?" "What?!" Dad shouted as he dropped his bags of clothes. "What?" Mum said astonished. "Oopsy." Alexa said as she looked at me sorry. I looked at her with it's okay in my eyes. "When you said friend I didn't think you meant Joey!" Mum said. "What do you mean she told you?" Dad said to mum. "She just asked me for advice, but it seems she already went on the date." Mum said looking annoyed at me. I looked down. "So what it was with Joey?" Alexa asked defending me. "We'll talk about this after dinner." Mum said angrily. Dinner was very quiet. No one talked.
