Mikhail had to rub his eyes a few times. Maybe even pinch himself a little. All to make sure that what he was seeing was the real deal.

"Now why would the harbinger be with y/n?"

One of the skirmishers uttered the small question beside Mikhail. His whole being freezing over slightly at all of his own thoughts.

Arlecchino. She was a sight for sore eyes for sure.

Though, I guess it was a good thing that she would be the one conducting the search and inspection today.

Mikhail already knew that Arlecchino had a little soft spot for his brother. Was he ever going to say that out loud though? Absolutely not. He liked living after all.

"Lady Arlecchino," Mikhail greeted when both y/n and her came to a stop before them. Y/n holding all the boxes as Arlecchino stood beside him.

Hmm, looks like Arlecchino is a tad bit shorter than him.

"Captain Mikhail," she greeted back, "may we go to your quarterly and speak privately? I have a few .. disagreements to speak with you about."

"I-," shit, "of course. Please follow me. And y/n?"

"Yes Captain!"

"Go put the supplies away and help prepare dinner."

"On it!"

Mikhail turned back to Arlecchino, "this way, Ma'am."

He led her through the snow. His feet scrunched down and making deep tracks.

He was unsettled more than ever by this point.

Not because she was strong.

No ..

It was because she didn't make a sound while walking. Not even the snow and ice beneath her feet made any crunching sound.

Maybe I'll die today.

"Sit."

Her command was simple as the two walked inside the brightly lit tent. His movements were quick as he obeyed. His eyes weary. His muscles tense.

What could she possibly have a disagreement about?

"I see that y/n is much healthier now."

"I-," he was caught a bit off guard, "yes, I suppose he is."

Arlecchino observed the table with a map strewn about it. Various place holders marking certain important areas.

"Hes taller now. Has a lean build with a good amount of muscle, but .."

He gulped.

"I can tell that he is weak. For example, that giant wild boar from a few days ago."

Mikhail's ears burned. She knows about that?!

She smirked when she caught a sight of Mikhail's tensed expression.

"I wasn't aware you knew. Not that I thought there was any importance of letting others know..."

Arlecchino turned away from the table. Her back to it as she leaned back to sit on the edge. Her head tilting to the side ever so slightly.
